Dance NewsMarch 2017

We are preparing for our multicultural show, which will take place March 13rd (Grades K-2) and March 14th (Grades 3-5). Our theme is “Wavin’ Flag”--which celebrates the diverse student population at PS166. Here, we come together to celebrate our differences and learn from each other. Thank you to students, parents and teachers who shared their cultural traditions that helped to create this unique performance.

FREE TICKETS FOR PAUL TAYLOR AT LINCOLN CENTER (March 19th @6pm)This special performance will feature works from legendary modern dance choreographers: Martha Graham, Merce Cunningham & Paul Taylor. This event is recommended for upper grade students, and parents get free tix too! This is a great opportunity for the whole family to enjoy world class dance at the Lincoln Center. To claim your tickets, please email Ms. Scott at rscott19@schools.nyc.gov with the number of tickets you would like.

To prepare students before the performance, Paul Taylor dancers will be coming to PS166 on March 16th for a workshop.
