Age 14-18 years @ Art Gallery 10.30am – 3.30pm

Inspired by the new installation created by Charles Holland of Ordinary Architecture in the

gardens behind the Art Gallery. Take part in a series of practical art workshops led by local

professional artists. Stretch your imagination and explore new materials. Whether art is just a

hobby or something you are studying (or planning to study) at GCSE or A level, Teenage Art

School will help you develop your skills

**Revolting Vikings with Terry Deary @ St Mary’s Coppergate**

4.30-7.30pm Sessions last one hour and start every 15 mins £10 includes book, activities and an accompanying adult

As part of your trail, you will: Pick an outrageous Viking name (and get a badge to let everyone know your new title!) Make a beardy disguise (to conceal your true identity) Search for clues in the rubbish discarded by our busy Viking traders (expect all kinds of gross

things!) Sort through gruesome animal bones to find out how these animals met their grisly ends Dissect a poo from the cess pit and find some nasty surprises (lovely!)

All will get one-on-one time with everyone’s favourite Horrible Historian, Terry Deary, who will answer your questions and sign a complimentary Horrible Histories book.
