A Family Commitment Providing the gifts of faith, knowledge, and direction is one of the most important things we do for our children. You make a significant investment in your child when you pick a Christian day school for their formal education. Its an investment in eternity for your child and for those with whom they will connect throughout their life!At Messiah, your child will be equipped for success in all aspects of life. Not only will they achieve great things in their coursework, but they will also grow to be outstanding young Christian leaders along the way, viewing their world through a Christ-centered lens.I have the privilege of working with fine teachers who feel called to serve your entire family and are themselves committed life-long learners. We are honored to serve you.
We look forward to welcoming your family to Messiah, growing together, working together, celebrating together, and serving together.

How important is faith development? We have known for years that intelligence, emotional health, exposure to the arts, and physical activity all have a positive impact on academic success. New studies are showing that faith development also makes a positive difference academically. Even more importantly, faith development makes an eternal difference for our children and those with whom they interact throughout their life.
What influences our children? Children are bombarded with many conflicting messages about right and wrong. Surrounding your child with excellent Christian role models is crucial to their success. Choosing a Christian school can help provide a consistent positive influence for your most precious treasure your child. According to current research, the top three tiers of influence on our children are:
1.Music, Movies, TV, Internet 2.Peers, School, Mentors, Sibling 3.Church, Family
The choices we make as parents can make a profound impact on how our children make sense of the world that God has created for them. Your Messiah staff is passionate about helping you feel successful as you lead and serve your family!
THESE CHARACTERISTICS OF DISCIPLESHIP MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR CHILDS SUCCESS!
You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to
all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. Matthew
Provide a nurturing environment that encourages life-changing spiritual growth so the Holy Spirit can
move within the hearts of students and those students cancarry their light into the world.

Award Winning Health & Wellness Program Messiah has developed a reputation for providing a wide variety of healthy food options at lunch and for not cutting back on Physical Education class time. Messiah regularly receives recognition from local and national organization including: USDA Healthier US Schools Nebraska Dairy Farmers NFL Fuel Up to Play 60
Messiahs excellent academic scores are typical of Lutheran Schools across the United States. Lutheran schools rank:
first in Science in grades 4, 8, and 12 first in Reading in grades 4, and 8 (no data for
12) second in Math in grades 4, 8, and 12
as measured by the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), a tool that assesses both public and non-public schools.
Academic Excellence Messiah utilizes the Northwest Evaluation Association Measurement of Academic Progress (MAP Test) to assess students in grades 3-5. Assessments take place twice per year to measure achievement, and more importantly, provide a valuable tool for teachers and parents for setting individualized academic goals for each child. We prepare an annual report of how Messiah students compare to their peers in local public districts. Good news! Messiah students regularly do outstanding!
Provide challenging curriculum that encourages students to reach their full potential through excellence in academics and the
integration of the Truth into all subjects.
Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6
Field Trips! Messiah has a proud tradition of offering students a wide variety of field trips each year. In addition to the intentional learning connections that students enjoy, field trips provide opportunities for parents and teachers to get to know each other as they spend a day together with the children.
Family Math Night - one of the many Messiah Family Nights designed to bring your family together with your Messiah family.
The Importance of P.E. & Music Many schools are greatly reducing and even eliminating these important programs. Messiah students enjoy formal Physical Education class three times per week and Music twice per week! We know that these subjects help with student engagement and with instilling valuable life-long habits and talents.
