At Age UK Gloucestershire we are utterly committed to our goal of making Gloucestershire the best place in the United Kingdom to grow old. For many, later life brings bereavement, separation and illness that can push people into physical and mental decline. The Life Changes project meets older people at these tipping points to help them with support and new skills that give perspective and hope.
We’re thrilled to be in partnership with the British Red Cross and Cruse in the Life Changes project. But we need someone new to lead our part of this project. We need someone to organize and motivate our volunteer team who can work collaboratively with our partners and, most of all, someone with a boundless and infectious enthusiasm for changing lives!
You will need to be...
• Positive about supporting older people• An experienced project leader• Social media and IT savvy• Out-going and people-focussed
If you are also a keen and experienced domestic deity, that will be an advantage, but isn’t essential.
