What is Nourish?OzHarvest’s Nourish Program is a pathway to employment designed for at-risk youth aged 16-25. OzHarvest has partnered with TAFE NSW and delivers Nourish at our headquarters in Sydney with the support of volunteers, mentors and qualified industry professionals.

How does Nourish work?The first step in the program is a six-week Introduction to Hospitality course covering basic cooking, nutrition, food safety, kitchen hygiene, communication and teamwork, resume writing and job interview skills.

After the introductory course, the students continue with a nationally recognized Certificate II in Hospitality. OzHarvest has an ever growing list of food donors and industry contacts who are willing to provide work experience and employment opportunities for students who successfully complete the course. The Nourish Program is FREE for participants.
