disabled youth, adults, and veterans

something to look forward to!

Items Supplied:

USSA provides all

food and drinks, sporting

equipment, including fishing

gear and tackle. Fishing rods

must be checked out and

checked back in

after use. Complete

gun and bow shoot-

ing range and

equipment is sup-

plied. We encour-

age bringing your

own favorite equip-

ment (fishing rods

and life jacket etc.)

New USSA tents

are available. (sleep

6) for each family

member. You must

supply your own

bedding (blankets,

sleeping bags, pil-

lows etc.) for each

family member.

Items To Bring: camera, sunscreen,

swimming suit, towels

for shower and beach,

insect repellent, chairs

and life jackets if you

have one.

How many adults attending?

3. Will you need a tent(s) or will you

be bringing a camper or RV?

4. Would anyone in your family like to take our

hunter safety course? If so you will first need to

take the WI DNR online course before event. (Go

to: http://www2.huntercourse.com/wisconsin/

study) You need to successfully complete the online

Wisconsin Hunter Education Course and all Chapter

Quizzes. Bring all completed chapter quizzes with you

for your required “Field Day” at Summerfest.

5. Are there any special medical needs

where you will need special assistance? What

about electricity?

IMPORTANT: For safety

and accountability your

family MUST also sign out

when you leave. It is im-

portant for us to know

who is on or off of the

property at all times in the

event of emergency, etc.

We are holding our annual Baking Contest! If you would like

to participate, please bring a baked item in a disposable con-

tainer labeled with your name.

IMPORTANT: In order to attend we must have a USSA ap-

plication on file for the family member with a disability prior

to the event. You can get an application on our website or one

will be mailed to you. (You only have to file this application

once and it will cover Summerfest and all future USSA events.)

DIRECTIONS FROM WEST: Coming from Black River Falls go east on Hwy 54 for fifteen miles. You

will pass Crawford Creek and climb a small hill. Look for USSA’s sign on your left (or north side of the

road). Turn left on to Shotwell Lane.

DIRECTIONS FROM EAST: Coming from Wisconsin Rapids go west on Hwy 54. After you pass the

town of “City Point” you will travel 12 more miles on Hwy 54. You will pass a sign that says “Pray” and

travel one more mile. Look for USSA’s sign on your right (or north side of the road). Turn right on to

Shotwell Lane.
