The quality of the camera is a whole lot better than video 1 and thesteadiness of the camera shots is excellent. This really improves theaudiences engagement with the narrative as it is easier to watch

Again, the effects that have been used are not very good. It is evident that at the beginning of the video they have, using layers, placed the boy on topof the busy location by the lake as you can see a faint outline where they have cropped him out when using a green screen or something equivalent to this and have placed him on top of the background layer. This really ruins the effectiveness and the realism of the narrative

At the beginning, the narrative is quite slow to begin and therefore is quite confusing. This has taught me to make the narrative simple and to get to the pointstraight away to make the audience feel more comfortable when watching it

I did like, however, the long shot and establishing shots at the beginning as it makes him seem lonely and isolated which matches the mood of the song

I also enjoyed the fact that they repeatedly used the same locations as it became familiar with the audience and therefore easier to follow and to relate to

I also like the idea of speeding up the timeline in order to create the feeling of time passing by which is also done in the original music video. As a micro example I enjoyed the low angle zoom to the Isolated snowflake. This prop also helped to show the passing of time and the isolation felt by the main protagonist.
