VCMs state-of-the-art manufacturing facility has undergone

significant investment in Surface Mount Technology,allowing

all fast moving products to be made to order or go into

stock,also enabling rapid and accurate assembly.Precise

plastic injection moulding components for quick,accurate

assembly and ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) for improved

process quality and throughput have also been introduced.

Design and Development Engineers is constantly working on

new products as well as improving existing ones.

Industry demand for training continues to increase,especially

in the fast-growing area of CCTV.From basic awareness to

specialist product knowledge,our courses cover both practical

and theoretical elements and are constantly updated.

UK,Europe and the world.

The Companys computer controlled distribution centre

means rapid,smooth and fault-free turnaround.Logistical

planning means VCD guarantees prompt delivery (orders

placed up until 5.30pm go out the same day),backed-up by

the capacity of a state-of-the-art warehouse,which ensures

that most lines are ex-stock and can be supplied in theshortest of lead times.

Our Customer Service Team is your first point of contact

when reporting a product for return,repair or for credit.

Their job is to deal with your problem as quickly as possible.

VCD also offers field,hotline and technical support meaning

help and advice is never far away.All our Area Sales Managers

have the backing of the Sales Administration team who are

there to see that the correct order reaches you at the right

place and at the right time.

We take exports seriously too,our Export Manager is based

in Belgium and we also have a sales office in Ireland,as well as

staff fluent in German,French and Spanish.

VCL in a growing world

VCL began in 1980 as a private company but has since

acquired truly global credentials.Part of the Honeywell

Corporation VCL works closely with its sister companies to

distribute CCTV products in North and South America,

Europe and the Asia Pacific countries.Despite the enormous

scale of the parent company,VCL is universally regarded as

the groups CCTV Centre of Excellence.

VCL has its head office,production and distribution base in a50,000 sq ft unit in Runcorn,Cheshire.Sited at the hub of the

UKs distribution network,this faciility is backed by a

southern office in High Wycombe,Buckinghamshire.The

company was voted Top Distributor in 2000,a clear

indication of its growing presence in the marketplace.

VCL continues to expand in response to this,recording a

five-fold growth in the last five years.
