EQUIPMENT

FULL SET-UP

A shaky video recording is an unpleasant viewing experience and makes for a poor quality video.

Due to this, we recommend you keep your camera steady when recording by using a tripod to hold your Tablet or Smartphone.

TRIPOD AND ADAPTOR

The tripod’s legs can extend from 20” to 48”. Leg locks

release smoothly and glide easily to your desired height.

Crank up the center post for a tripod that is 60” tall

Move handle left/right and up/down to adjust camera placement. Tighten

handle to lock into position.

Fit tablet or smartphone into adaptor

Secure adaptor onto mount by using screw

Release lock to remove camera mount

Mobile devices are not designed for the best possible audio recording quality.It is best practice to use an external microphone when recording video on your smartphone or tablet.

Step 1 : Charge the microphone by using the USB cable to plug it into a laptop or power supply

Step 2 : Press and hold the ON/OFF button for two seconds

Step 3 : Make sure that the gray switch is set to ‘B’

Step 4 : In your device’s settings, turn on Bluetooth and connect to BTMIC2

Step 5 : Clip microphone to your lapel and you’re ready to start recording your video from the T Uploader App!

STEP 1

Amber LED light means the microphone is charging.

Wait until the amber LED turns off (or dims), which means that the microphone is fully charged.

Charge the microphone by using the USB cable to plug it into a

laptop or power supply

Press and hold the ON/OFF button for two seconds

In your device’s settings, turn on Bluetooth and connect to BTMIC2

Once connected to Bluetooth the LED light will flash blue

STEP 5

Clip microphone to your lapel and you’re ready to start recording your video from the T Uploader App!

* Make sure you turn off the microphone when done to preserve the battery life

1. Login with TALENT username and password

2. Click the RED record video button to start recording

3. Click again to stop recording

4. If connected to WiFi, video will automatically upload to TALENT

5. Not connected to WiFi, video stored and uploaded once on WiFi

1. Set-up tripod

2. Attach the adaptor to the tripod

3. Place iPad in the adaptor

4. Connect and turn on bluetooth microphone

5. Start recording with the T Uploader app
