About Fred Experiential Media, Inc. Fred's Experiential Media, Inc. and Fredʼs Film Workshops were created by producers Benjamin Patton and Scott Kinnamon in 2006. The workshops represent an innovative new digital media program for adolescents, where they learn the art of storytelling using the moving image. For the past four summers, Fredʼs Film Workshops have been held at Green Meadows Farm in South Hamilton, MA. In 2009, Fred began offering a second teen workshop, in Denver, Colorado. Through the medium of digital video, students develop technical as well as valuable life skills - from collaboration to project management. They also discover the value of their own voice and develop the critical narrative skills necessary to navigate the modern world. Additionally, Fred hosts mini-workshop for parents and adult friends of Fred, which are oriented toward personal biography and understanding the teen tech culture. We also organize training workshops for educators and healthcare professionals. For more on Fred and to see our studentsʼ work, visit www.fredsfilms.com.
