Sidesaddle is often done by a girl to keep her skirt to the side.

Sidesaddle was to show proper etiquette when you rode.

Sidesaddle is when a girl Keeps both legs to the side.

Riding sidesaddle didn’t allow the rider to have full control of the horse

So another person would ride normal to control the horse

Mostly rich people were the only ones to have and afford a horse

You were judged on by how many horses you had

You would also be judged on if you could handle a spirited horse

Women would wear gloves, tights, boots, and a garment to go horseback riding

Men would similar clothing like boots, gloves, and jackets.

Horses were mostly used for transporting people heavy objects

They were also to showoff how rich they were all.
