The PO name is problematic. Wandin (1) opened 1.8.1892. According to both WWW and Hugh Freeman it wasrenamed Wandin South 2.8.1893. However, WWW have a note that Olinda Vale, which opened c.1892, wasrenamed Wandin South c.1892. And Hugh Freeman's illustrated cds is 'OLINDA VALE/AU3/93/VICTORIA', one dayafter the reputed name change from Wandin to Wandin South. We are confident, therefore, that the office was calledOlinda Vale for a very brief period & that the cds apparently continued in use, again for a very brief period, at WandinSouth.
