Concerning with the painting on the table

top: According to my definition, this would be

considered as art, because it is displayed and

since nothing is on top of it, (except for a

cellphone) it holds only one purpose of being

an art. However, if there is stuff on top of it, I

would not consider it as art because its main

purpose is now to hold objects and is unlikely

to evoke any emotion.

According to my definition, this is considered

as art because it is displayed in an art gallery,

its purpose is to be art (hence why it’s in an

art gallery) and it evokes emotion. However, I

will consider this as a bad art because it

evokes negative emotions. It does not look eye

pleasing nor does it look pleasant.

This is an example of something

that most people will consider as

art, although it was displayed, it

does not serve to be an art but to

cool a person. I believe this is

considered as beautiful because it

evokes a positive emotion.

In contrast to this fan, this is

considered as art because it is

displayed on a wall and serves

only one purpose of being an art.

Although this wall fan is capable

of cooling a person, at this state

its main purpose is to be art on a

wall.

Although it may

seem like the cake

has another

purpose such as

feeding others, thus

it wouldn’t be art,

but the picture on

the cake itself is art.

purpose, which is to

However, this art evokes

negative emotions it is a bad

art in my opinion. For myself,

I don’t see anything that

catches my attention that

makes me want to say

“wow.” Instead it makes me

want to say “okay, let’s move

on!”

Every object on this shelf is considered as art

according to my definition. They’re all displayed,

has no other purpose other than being an art and it

evokes emotions. Although, these may not be

intended to be art, I would say it is art because it’s

displayed and has a purpose of being an art. On the

other hand, if these objects were to be used then

they will lose its meaning of art because its being

used for another purpose.

This is my favourite image out

of all I have seen. According to

my definition, this is art because

it’s displayed, has no other

purpose than being art and it

evokes emotion(s). I consider

this a good art because, it

evokes good emotions even

though pooh has a gun pointing

at him. It evokes good emotions

for me, because Winnie the

Pooh is an adorable character

and it makes me want to say

“aww that’s so cute!”

According to my definition this is art,

because it is displayed on the internet,

serves only one purpose which is to be

art and it evokes emotions from the

audience.

These two images are what I

define as poser art. They are

still art but they’re just poser

art. They are displayed, only

serves to be an art and it

evokes emotions. However,

because these two images are

created based on the original,

they’re poser art.

Last two things I would like to present to you.

Assuming this table is displayed in an art gallery, I

would consider it as art because it meets my

requirements in my definition. However, if this

table is removed from the art gallery and is used

to hold my backpack, this table is no longer

considered as art to me. (as demonstrated to the

right)
