• The figures brought out by the latest MSME Report by Ministry of MSME(s) revealed the size of the registered MSMEs sector to be over 1.1 Million Enterprises

• Of the total registered working enterprises, the proportion of micro, small and medium enterprises were 94 94% 4 89% and 0 17% respectively This comprises of 67 10%enterprises were 94.94%, 4.89% and 0.17% respectively. This comprises of 67.10% manufacturing enterprises and 32.90% services enterprises.

The strength of Gujarat’s manufacturing sector lies in its strong base of micro, small and

medium scale enterprises (MSMEs)

Ahmedabad Surat Rajkot Vadodara Bharuch Jamnagar Bhavnagar and Valsad are the Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot, Vadodara, Bharuch, Jamnagar, Bhavnagar and Valsad are the

major Multi‐Product MSME clusters in the state

Total investment under MSME, between year 2010 ‐ 2014, stood at USD 7.7 billion
