Kellock Arts Jamboree (or KAJA) is a yearly affair organised
by the Creative Arts department and Kellock PSG. It offers
arts-related workshops for students to experience and learn
various art genres from specially selected content providers,
against a unique theme for the year.
This year, “Vibrancy In The Arts” encourages the young to
boldly try out new art forms and enjoy what the Arts has to
offer.
Take the opportunity to explore drama with the Singapore
Repertory Theatre, get your hands on charcoal and
decoupage, shake to belly dancing, learn to speak French and

About the Instructor Kok Wai has been dabbling with film camera since his primary school days. Between now and then, he has 11 years of professional photography work covering VIPs like President Tony Tan and MPs in various events, photographed people from all walks of life for ads and private collection. When he didn’t feel like talking, he shoots interior, architecture and occasionally ships.
Activity Who says mobile camera can’t get arty looking photos? Explore the secrets of getting professional looking photos right from your mobile phone! Oh yes, you don’t even need filters or app to make it look nice. If you want, you could. PS. This is a How-To-See photography workshop, not a how-to-use-my-camera workshop.

Charcoal Drawing
Activity
Charcoal drawing is the art of using charcoal as the primary medium. Participants will be introduced to the basic techniques of shading and drawing with charcoal. Be prepared to have fun and make some mess!!!

She is a certified Art Therapist and one of the founding members of the Art Therapists' Association of Singapore (ATAS). She graduated with a Master of Arts (Art Therapy) in 2007 from LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore; a Master of Arts (Research) in 2002 from the National Institute of Education, Singapore; and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1993 from the San Francisco Art Institute, USA. She has worked in a variety of settings with individuals and groups of different age.

About the Instructor
Leanna, a life coach and trainer. Her passion is to help others find passion, alignment and transcend the ordinary in life. One of the ways she does this is through art. As a parent, she sees this as a fantastic way to give back to the Kellock family. Her youngest daughter is currently in P6 and her older daughter also graduated from Kellock 3 years ago.

About the Instructor Mastika is professional designer with over 17 years of experience. She has been making paper flowers for fun as hobbies for kids parties and weddings.
Activity Paper flowers capture the beauty of actual blooms in a whimsical way. Students and parents can learn how to make peonies, poppies and magnolias. Paper flowers have no limits, and it makes beautiful centrepieces for parties, gift card, special wrap and home decor! Materials are not limited to beautiful colour papers but also scrap papers. Create Your Charm!
Activity Create your own unique charm for a new decoration or a gift to your friend. First, color in and write letters on the illustrations with pens or pencils, then cut out the illustrations and put the illustrations on top of the aluminium foil and into the oven. It will shrink into a cute size, and a plastic charm complete!

Cupcake Décor & Push-Pop Cake Making
Activity Join parent volunteers from the Tutti Frutti team in this fun-filled activity of baking cupcakes from scratch, and decorating them beautifully with your creativity! Have fun mixing all the ingredients and whisking them into a smooth and fragrant batter for baking lovely cupcakes. What’s more, participants will also get to make push-pop cakes! They are made up of different colours of sponge cake, with layers of tantalising whipped cream in between the cakes, placed in the push-pop containers. You will have lots of fun in this workshop, indulging yourself in a world of colourful rainbow of cakes!

Every dancer can dance, but not every dancer can teach. Zena is a passionate dancer who has won multiple awards, dances beautifully and is known to be able to breakdown her lessons to suit her students. Zena's classes are fun and light hearted and she enjoys working with children.
Bonjour & Bon Appetit - A Taste of French
