This is the masthead of the front cover and is a simple yellow colour and a simple font. The main artists of the front cover also partially goes over the masthead however it is still easily readable.

This is the sell line of the magazine and is used to show some of what may be including in the magazine. The colours are white and read to follow the colour scheme of the rest of the front cover. Shapes are used to separate the artists. Some of the letters are spaced apart more than normal and this is to make them stand out above the masthead.

The main image is of two rappers Eminem and Dr Dre, the image takes up most of the front cover and they are dressed in science outfits to support the main cover line “What are Eminem and Dre cookin up?”

Cover lines: The cover lines are used to show what will be included in the magazine. Like other vibe magazines the font is sans serif is simple. The colours used are white, back and yellow to match the colour scheme of the colour. Some of the text is black with a yellow highlight over it to stand out.

This is the main cover line and has a much larger font size which runs across most of the magazine. The yellow and white colours are used to go with the colour scheme and the artists names are bigger and in a different colour so that they stand out next to the white font.

The barcode of the magazine is located in the bottom left of the magazine along with the date of the magazine and the website. The magazine is published monthly as suggested by the date shown.
