The pardon shall extend only to the first person who shall give such information.

Circular Orders and Miscellaneous Information

C.O. "/yso—Police Officers in charge of Districts and Sub-Districts are held responsible that all, outstand-ing account!) for liabilities incurred by thera or the police serviu'^ under them, on account of the Police Department, whether under contracts or otherwise, are forwarded to the Chief Office not later than the Ist January, 1887.

Special duty returns are to be fonvarded in time to reach the Chief Office not later than the 3rd January, 1887, and, whei-e the course of post will l)ermit, should include all claims for the month of December; where this is not the case they should be made up to as late a date in December as possible.

All supplies, including fora<:te, fuel, &c., required for the remainder of tlie year should be obtained, and shoeiiifj and repairs executed early in the month of December. The Officer incurring the lialiility should then see that the contractor or other person performing the service rcnders his account at once.

Accounts are to be forwarded with the usual supportiniT vonchera as they are received, and not held over tili the end of the month.
