Patrick Blanc (* 1953 in Paris) is a French botanist known for its unusual approach to his field - it's a combination of science and art. He graduated from the University Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris. He traveled all over the world visited Malaysia and Thailand, studied the plants growing in areas devoid of natural soil. It is known to create vertical walls of green plants (murs végétaux)

As proposed in the urban canyons of vertical gardens of native plants and places.

　 Was featured in the poll "Top 50 Innovation 2009," Time magazine.
