Company History

Calibre® has its roots as the IT division of Career Forum Ltd., a pioneering and premier private-sector Indian educational services organization imparting training and competency building services for international and nationwide competitive examinations.

As the in-house software development division for over 10 years, Calibre® was also an independent profit centre. It undertook various projects for building, automating, operating and maintaining ERP’s of other companies.

In 2008, Calibre® was spun off as a separate company.

Managing Director’s Profile

Mr. Sunil Khanna, Managing Director, Calibre®, has 27 years’ experience in the software industry. He received his B.Tech. in Engineering from National Institute Of Technology, Calicut, India, in 1986. He worked with Tata Consultancy Services and Citicorp Software, before joining Career Forum Ltd. as the Chief Technology Officer.

During his tenure at Citicorp Overseas Software Ltd., Mr. Sunil Khanna was actively involved in the 'Project Banker', a bank branch operations suite. This was later branded 'Finware', and was a very successful banking product.

At Career Forum Ltd., he took up extensive computerisation of all the organisational functions. The usage of technology in managing distributed campuses across the country made the Career Forum business model highly scalable.

He founded Calibre® as a business division of Career Forum in 2005. Having successfully executed a number of projects, he hived off the software division as a separate company in 2008, with the aim to venture into other domains.
