He is a member of the Venezuela Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra and the Venezuelan Brass Ensemble. He’s professor at the Simón Bolívar Conservatory of Music, and orchestra conductor.
He serves as principal soloist of the Vienna Volksoper since 2012. As a Lieder singer, he is recognised as one of the best performers of the genre, often accompanied by renowned pianistssuch as Roger Vignoles, Julius Drake and James Baillieu.
Created in 2014, it fosters a context where musicians and a wide range of audiences meet around both traditional and contemporary repertoires. The ensemble has played in Bogota’s main venues.

He’s played in recitals in Colombia, Italy and Panama. He’s performed as a soloist and has been a member of Colombia Youth Symphony Orchestra, Conservatory Symphony Orchestra, Bogota Symphony Orchestra, and Colombia National Symphony Orchestra.
Its members are Miguel Ángel Guevara (violin), Juan Pablo Arango (violin), Ricardo Hernández (viola), and Hans Rincón (cello). In addition to its activities, the quartet performs didactic concerts with the purpose of forming audiences.
Since its creation in 1983 under the direction of Herwig Reiter, the choir has been a powerful exponent of Vienna’s choral excellency.
BOGOTA PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRAThis ensemble is composed by three youth orchestras belonging to the Bogota Philharmonic: the Youth Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra, the Youth Philharmonic Orchestra and the Youth Philharmonic Band.
He works with orchestras including Vienna Volksoper, Mozarteum and Camerata Salzburg. Since 1991, he is professor of choral conduction at the Vienna’s University of Music andPerforming Arts, and directs the Weber Chamber Choir, and Salzburg’s Bach Choir.
Established in 1990, as one of the main axis of the musical studies program at the Javeriana, its members are students selected through an audition process.
He is principal conductor of the Süddeutscher Philhamonie Konstanz since 2016. Prior to that, he served as principal conductor of the Norwegian Radio Orchestra in Oslo.

Since her early childhood, De la Salle has received multiple prizes as the Steinway, Sucy, Vulaines, and Radio France, growing a stellar career. Her Chopin CD earned awards such as the Diapason d’Or and the International Record Review Outstanding.
Since 2008 he’s served as artistic director of the Dresdner Musikfestspiele. He’s also the founder and director of the Mortizburg Chamber Music Festival. His crossover project with Bill Murrayhas earned him international acclaim.
He is president of the Orchestre d’Harmonie de la Région Centre-Val de Loire and the ensemble À Tours de Cors. He created and directs two festivals and two music academies as well.
He’s worked as a professor and as workshop facilitator with different Colombian orchestras. Nowadays he’s the principal horn of the Colombia National Symphony Orchestra, and belongs to the renowned ensemble Cuprum.
He’s played as principal horn for orchestras including the Netherlands Symphony Orchestra and the Netherlands Wind Ensemble, and has collaborated with conductors including Claudio Abbado and Gustavo Dudamel.
Established in 2014, as a part of Bogota Philharmonic Orchestra, its 40 members are young high level singers who have developed an intense artistic practice, thus strengthening choral music in Bogota and Colombia.
She is artistic director of Bogota Philharmonic Orchestra’s Youth Philharmonic Choir since itscreation in 2014. She works as choral music professor at the Andes University.
The Nueva Ópera de Colombia was established in 1992, as well as its choir, in order to participate in the Camarín del Carmen’s stagings. Its members are students from different music faculties around Colombia.
Since 2002 he conducts the Ópera de Colombia’s Choir. He’s developed projects in El Salvador and Nicaragua, and, since 1995, resides in Bogotá. He’s composed works for choir, choir andorchestra, vocals and piano.

Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo, a public institution of Bogota’s City Hall, following the city’s Secretary of Culture, Recreation and Sports, and the District’s Institute for the Arts’ cultural policies, created in 2013Bogota’s International Classical Music Festival, to strengthen Bogota’srecognition as a Unesco Creative City of Music.
The Festival’s mission is to offer a profound insight into the work of aspecific composer, or a particularly meaningful music period. Therefore, we have produced Bogota is Beethoven in 2013, Bogota is Mozart in 2015, and Bogota is the Romantic Russia in 2017. In 2019, the Festival will be focused on the great composers of the German Romantic period: Brahms, Schubert and Schumann.
We will offer 50 concerts, 12 of them for free, in 15 different venues aroundthe city, encompassing the composer’s legacies through symphonies, choral music, Lied, chamber music, piano and vocal recitals.
Renowned orchestras, ensembles and soloists, both national and foreign, will take part in this Festival.
We are confident that the Festival will continue to gather musical audiencesof all kind and will provide a privileged opportunity to forming new ones.
