units with heat recovery. By using innovative technology,
we created the most energy efficient and quiet units on the
market today.

Access to the outside air is established via two holes
through either ceiling or wall, directly from the unit. No
ducts or pipes needed, giving the lowest possible energy
consumption for air transport.

tHe fUtUre iS all reaDY HereModular Buildings with a “green” profile
are all ready a reality. Why?
Because customers are demanding respon-
sible solutions. Both public and private
investors are aware of their own company
profile. Features like comfort, indoor cli-
mate, architecture are integrated conditions
that will create an attractive work place.
Those with the contemporary and innova-
tive answers to above issues will also get
the business.
renovation or extenSionMany countries are obliged to reduce
their energy consumption and CO2 emis-
sions. This requires new answers to energy
consumption in our buildings. Even though
budgets are tight, public subsidiaries are be-
ing directed towards renovation of existing
buildings. These buildings are often schools,
day care centres, hospitals and other public
buildings. Where extension of an existing
building is being considered, a modular
building shall most certainly be considered,
and same demands regarding energy con-
sumption and indoor climate apply.
Modular buildings with a green profile
Due to the units flexibility and easy installation they
are perfect for modular buildings, which is why we
have many years of experience providing service to
manufacturers of pavilions, light constructions and
modular buildings. Airmaster understands what is of
great importance to these types of projects. Decentral-
ized ventilation is often proven to be less expensive than
traditional solutions involving centralized ventilation.
5
enerGY efficiencY reqUireMentSFuture revisions of national building regulations
shall see new limits for energy consumption
in buildings, including modular buildings. In
some parts of Europe, building regulations
already apply for both permanent and tem-
porary buildings; disregarding the period of
time it is in use. Ventilation is an integrated
part of these regulations, and cannot be
disregarded when it comes to comfort,
energy consumption, and health.
6
The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) is the prime source of expertise for sustainable buildings. Carbon dioxide (CO2) levels in rooms are indicators of the general indoor air quality of a building. CIBSE recommends a CO2 concentration of no more than 900 ppm to maintain comfort.
7
Even though most changes in the building regulations
regarding energy consumption are concentrated on insula-
tion, heat loss efficient heating systems etc., other equally
important issues, are now being dealt with. Most countries
now have limits to the level of CO2 in teaching facilities and
day care centres. The learning ability and general comfort is
severely influenced by the content of CO2 in the air. Without
proper ventilation the level will exceed the limits only after a
few minutes of teaching.
Failing to ventilate in a responsible way, significant energy
is being wasted through heating and electricity costs. 40%
of all energy consumption is directly related to heating of
buildings. Target is by 2020 to reduce this by 75%.
Mechanical ventilation with heat recovery contributes signifi-
cantly to achieve this objective, and at the same time delivers
optimal conditions for humans to live, learn and work.

a green energy saving concepTThink green and cost-effective - offer your customers a green building concept that, today and for the future, sets the highest standard in energy efficiency, health and comfort. A healthy and fresh indoor environment, through demand controlled decentralized ventilation with heat recovery, is perfect with intelligent, well-designed and sustainable construction.
tHe GreeneSt ventilation on tHe MarKetVentilation units from Airmaster have some of the
lowest energy consumption as a result of using
energy efficient components. Substantial savings
can be achieved by using demand controlled decen-
tralised heat recovery ventilation, where and when
needed, without huge extra costs for controlling de-
vices. This becomes very clear on the bottom line,
when you look at the building’s overall energy bill.

Facts about airmaster ventilation units:
• AM 100 is suitable to provide ven-
tilation for an office of 10-15 sqm.
or a dwelling of 75-100 sqm., for
less than € 1 worth of electricity
a week. The rest of our pro-ducts
are equally cost effective.
• Our cross-counterflow heat
exchangers recover most of the
heat from the exhaust air and
transfers it to the supply air. All
units recover more than 80% at
full capacity, but more than 90% if
reduced in capacity (DCV or smart
timer settings).
• Mounting of the units is quick
and easy. Units can be installed
and operational typically within 2
hours, excluding time taken to core
drill the walls.
• All units, designed for mounting
under the ceiling and with
horizontal supply and extract
to outside, can be fitted with a
cooling module. Cooling capacity
is outside air temperature -15°C,
which is adequate for most
European conditions. The cooling
modules can be retrofitted.
A further 10-15% increase in efficiency
if temperature is right.
The same conditions apply for the
learning ability for school children.
Fully automated ventilation with DCV
– the unit needs no further attention.
A 10-15% increase in work efficiency from
employees, if air quality is high.

Decentralised ventilation gives you the freedom to change your mind.
The ventilation can be easily re-configured if the room is to
be used for a different purpose.

The CC units are compatible with the full
range of AM horizontal models, LON® and
the individual control panels, making the AM
ventilation systems an efficient, economic
and future-proof solution.
freeDoM to cHanGe YoUr MinDDecentralized ventilation from Airmaster means
freedom to change your mind. Efficient ventila-
tion, without ducts and pipes and their acces-
sories like fire dampers. It is perfect for projects
such as pavilions and barracks, where rooms
often change purposes.
The units are often mounted in such a way that a
fire cell is not crossed, in that way a compulsory
fire damper is not necessary - this will save time
and money for maintenance and installation.
Airmaster units are used in offices, conference
rooms, schools, day care centres and dwellings
– whether it comes to traditional or modular
buildings.
coolinG UnitS DeSiGneD, SiZeD anD aDapteD to tHe ventilation UnitSThe cooling unit (CC) for the AM range provides
the finishing touch for the market’s most flexible
ventilation system. The dedicated cooling units
(CC) make decentralised ventilation the obvious
solution – removing the need for separate cool-
ing and ventilation.
Flexibility does not mean that Airmaster com-
promises comfort. We offer the possibility to
fit a cooling unit to all wall-mounted horizontal
models, which is possible both for new installa-
tions and for retrofitting.

a Unit for everY applicationThe AM range is available in various models with
different intelligent control solutions, which makes
the daily operation easier and lower the expenses
for ventilation. Correct dimensioning of the system
reduces the energy consumption while optimal
control constantly monitors the need for ventilation,
automatically adjusting the systems performance to
the actual conditions.
tHe freeDoM of total controlWith Airmaster ventilation, it is possible to pick
out the type of system control that fits the building
project – and that will suit the use of the building.
AM ventilation comes with an intuitive control panel
which makes it easy to program and operate the
system manually or automatically. Motion and CO2
sensors keep the energy consumption and CO2 level
at acceptable levels.
bUilDinG ManaGeMent SYSteMS = bMSIn large buildings with numerous units, the central
control via PC may be the optimal solution. In this
way you keep track of operation, temperature and
the CO2 level in the air.

regular and larger classroomsAM 800 is especially developed for classrooms, where, at times, the need for air exchange with-out noise and draught is substantial. To keep a perfect balance between the use of energy and indoor climate the system can be controlled and programmed in numerous sophisticated ways.
Control using motion sensorsLast one to leave shuts off the ventilation, or…? With motion sensors you can make sure that the venti lation is not running, when the room is empty. This energy consumption is limited to the actual time of need for it.
Control using Co2 sensorsWhen you notice that the CO2 level in the room is too high, it is already too late. With a CO2 sensor the CO2 level is constantly being monitored and kept below a predefined limit.
Control using lon, Modbus, KnX or baCnetVentilation with Airmaster is easily controlled from a PC and is integrated with other building automation. From a local PC you get the full overview of operation and
temperature as well as the possibility of programming the units for the
specific use of the rooms.
small and mid-sized roomsAM 100, AM 300 and AM 500 are suited for small and mid-sized rooms and offices. The right model is chosen based on precise information about the size and use of the room.
Control panelsAll Airmasters air handling units are controlled by fully automatic, intelligent control system – Airlinq. Airlinq control system consists of two control boxes (AQC L / AQC P) and two control panels (Viva / Orbit).Airlinq allows full use of units directly after installation. All basic functions are pre-programmed by the factory.
