Conclusion- The objective of this lab was to explore the relationship of velocity and acceleration for a ball rolling down and incline plane. We measured the time it toke for the ball to roll down the incline. The data seems reasonable because every group got about the same numbers. I found out the relationship between velocity and acceleration. There wasn't any unusual data in my graph, the data was almost perfectly linear. My results supported the objectives. The speed of the ball stays at a constant velocity because it accelerates at a constant rate. The ball is accelerating as it rolls down the incline, as it travels along the floor, the ball rolls at a constant acceleration. A error could be that the floor isn't perfectly level, so it could cause the ball to roll faster or slower. The hypothesis was confirmed through our data. If the floor had been polished right before the experiment, the ball might have rolled faster. A further experiment could test if balls of different masses roll at the same rate.
