Opinions on Zero-Emission PT!
Operator:
- Too heavy, so less passengers (18m-18ton dsl 2.500km, H2 320km, bat 40km)
- Too big equipment, so less passengers
- Too high, so operation on all lines is not possible
- Range is too small, so operation on all lines is not possible
- Special depot and also special maintenance people required
- Too expensive, so not economical
- Unreliable, so not economical
Energy supplier:
- High peaks in electricity lines, during loading
- Big investments in charging or fuelling stations
Public Transport Manufacturer:
- Weight and Weight distribution
- No quantity of vehicles
- No real competition, because one time engineering with one supplier
- Big engineering risks, due to constant developments energy-storage and charging principle

• Flexibility: 1. Vehicle can run on different lines. All kind of ranges with RE modules possible.
2. Various RE modules can be used at the same standard vehicle
3. RE modules can be changed on the line
4. Charging or refuelling can be logistically optimized
• Vehicle depreciation, regardless of: 1. Energy storage developments fuel cell
2. Development of charging technology
• Vehicle costs / passenger is much lower than in an integrated system:
1. Vehicle is standard and can be produced in large quantities
2. RE modules can be optimized as module, not as a vehicle integrated system
