VDCA CambodiaLibrary and Playground Fundraiser

What we do...VDCA is a grassroots organization, which has had official registration as an NGO in Cambodia since 2007. We offer underprivileged children the chance for a better future by providing them a free education in Khmer, English, Cambodian morality, hygiene, computer courses and art studies. There are now more than 600 children who attend our VDCA schools in Siem Reap and Anlung Pi, Cambodia. We also provide opportunities for families to have a better life through education, training and community programs.

VDCA is entirely funded through our generous sponsors, donors and fundraisers from around the world.

Our Library ProjectIn celebration of International Children’s Book Day, we would love to upgrade our library. Our staff and volunteers have been working hard to give our library a fresh feel with new paint and we would like to provide our children with new books, as ours are very pre-loved.We would like to raise US$1000 to improve the library with new Fiction and Non-Fiction books for our children and library supplies.

Our Playground ProjectVDCA is now offering morning classes to provide free education to even more children in Siem Reap. We think it is also important to offer our children a space for play in between classes, so the children can enjoy being children, despite any hardships at home.We would like to raise US$700 to purchase playground equipment and install a fun, safe play area for our children.
