The new kid in the barrio this year is Don Martin Morales’ diner but its really hit the ground running with Don Ceviche, barbecued anticuchos and more ways with pisco than you thought possible.

Also opening this summer we’re looking forward to trying Lima London, headed up by top Peruvian chef Virgilio Martinez, chef patron of Central in Lima and Sushisamba which looks set to extend the culinary love shared between Brazil and Japan.

Long established Spanish-Colombian tapas in Clapham. Good range of dishes with some unusual choices like fried cas-sava served with chillies and guacamole, veal empanadas and a buzzing atmo-sphere attracting a vibrant local crowd.

Smart modern Mexican restaurant, run by Mexicans, with a slick tequila bar. A range of good specialities but their Sunday brunch with huevos rancheros, menudo, pozole and birria is the one to go to when you are hungry.
