PKTBA is a Russian leading manufacturer of valve repair and testing equipment in terms of production volume. Strong position of the PKTBA on the market is the result of continuous creative work of several generations. Today the company employs over 600 specialists.

PKTBA has placed its facilities on an area of 11,508 м², which includes a new manufacturing shop opened in May 2007. Production facilities exceed 200 items of equipment.

RETROSPECT:The history of the company dates back to 1962. At that time,

PKTBA was a Penza affiliate of Leningrad Central Valves Design Office and one of the leading valve designer for oil & gas industry, chemical plants, missiles and submarines, and manufacturer of equipment for valve production. Later the specialists of PKTBA were the first in the USSR who have established the mass production of equipment for the repair and testing of pipeline valves.

Over 60 talented engineers have been working at the PKTBA design department since the 1980's. Our products are developed by highly skilled experts using the KOMPAS-3D professional three-dimensional simulation system, which allows us to continuously upgrade and modify our range of products line and provide the customers with up-to-date innovative ideas.

In the 1990's, unlike many other manufacturers, PKTBA reorganized its Customer Service Team into an independent Department, which allowed us to promptly conduct the equipment servicing, installation and start-up supervision, and Customer personnel training.

In 1999, it was decided to provide the PKTBA equipment, which is no longer produced, with lifetime technical support and spare parts supply.

In 2007, a new production workshop was put into operation and is now equipped with modern CNC machining centers HARDING TALENT (USA).

Today we are manufacturing our equipment by using such high-quality imported components as DUPLOMATIC (Italy), RITTAL (Germany), PHOENIX CONTACT (Germany), MAXIMATOR (Germany), HANSA FLEX (Germany - Russia), CUPLA (Japan), CAMOZZI (Italy), EWM (Germany), FESTO (Germany), WIKA (Germany), LINCOLN ELECTRIC (USA), BOSCH (Germany) etc. and we effectively solve customer problems in the field of pipeline valve repair and testing. EQUIPMENT ADVANTAGES:The PKTBA-PGS control circuit uses pneumatically controlled gate elements. PKTBA-VUVACUUM SYSTEM

PURPOSE:• air drainage from products (pipeline valves) placed at

test bench before filling with water. Recommended for use with horizontal test bench.

EQUIPMENT ADVANTAGES:Provides significant reduction of time for filling of the tested products with water excluding need of remained air removal from the valves and fittings.High degree of vacuumizing (up to -0.95 bar) allows remaining air reducing to minimum during water filling.Essential for horizontal bench for testing of large inner diameter valves and fittings from DN 400 and higher. Equipped with automated control system which allows switching off the installation when the required level of vacuumization is reached.May be used as vacuum creation mean in other fields of application. Compatible with all the types of test bench from PKTBA product range as well as for use as a component with other manufacturer’s test bench.

PURPOSE:• provision of safety protection in case of depressurization of the

tested products or connecting elements during hydraulic and pneumatic testing.

EQUIPMENT ADVANTAGES:Set of modules allows mounting of armoured protection of various types and sizes with possible placement of gates at various sides.The panels of armoured protection are provided with viewing windows of certified armoured glass.In the armored protection fencing is provided the locking mechanism of the entrance gates during the test.Armoured protection is mounted at the site. Uprights are installed at foundations using foundation (anchor) bolts.In order to provide electrical safety panels and gate leaves are facilitated with grounding bolts.In the armored protection fencing is provided the locking mechanism of the entrance gates during the test.

• remote monitoring of testing process of different equipment within the protective barriers (armoured barriers) where the presence of people is hazardous or not required.

COMPLETE SET:• control panel;• high quality turning video cameras of dome type, 2 or 4 pcs. (5 by order);• set of fastening devices;• set of connecting cables;• documentation.

EQUIPMENT ADVANTAGES:Visual monitoring of testing process performed within protective barrier (armoured protection) from different sides. Allows control from the control panel:

All the control elements are located at industrial upright of high protection rate. PKTBA-TGRRAIL TROLLEYSPURPOSE:

• the rail trolleys are designed for transportation of various loads along horizontal rectilinear and curvilinear rail tracks.

COMPLETE SET:• trolley;• power supply 24V and 48V;• a set of mushroom-shaped electric contacts for the rail track length up to 60 m (2362″) (as requested by customer);• remote control.

EQUIPMENT ADVANTAGES:The trolleys are useful to connect the areas covered by cargo cranes. They can work outdoors and perform transportation outside the operation area of the crane.The trolleys are operation and maintenance friendly. The average travel velocity is 25 m/min (82,02 foot/min).Compared with other shop conveying equipment, they have lower cost, longer service life, high reliability, and low operating expenses.The design features allow us to move the trolley along curvilinear rail tracks.The trolley can be controlled from both the cabin and push-button remote control.For reliability and safety, the trolleys are equipped with the rum-chock brake system, emergency alarm, and strobe light.
