HEH Civil is a reputable Civil Construction company delivering a wide variety of projects across the length and breadth of the
Sunshine State. With a genuine focus on quality outcomes, HEH Civil partners with discerning public and private sector

HEH Civil is a family owned and operated business, with founders Mark and Luke Bird leading by example helping to drive the
increased capability and growth of the company. Since its inception more than a decade ago HEH Civil has evolved to become
regarded as one of the industry’s emerging contractors. A willingness to embrace challenges and a desire to solve problems for
clients has seen the HEH Civil team upgrading roads in the wet and wild Tropical Far North and stabilising steep embankments
to protect the flora and fauna in World Heritage Listed Areas. We have the skills, experience, equipment and attitude to
complete high quality projects in a safe and timely manner no matter the obstacles.

To complement our strong practical skills and experience we have embraced a process of continuous improvement. This
progression has seen HEH Civil develop, implement and commit to an Integrated Management System which encompasses:

We consider these key deliverables on all the projects we undertake and as such we adhere to very high standards and set
strict targets for compliance and assurance to the requirements of all stakeholders. Regularly monitoring our performance and
reviewing our core operations ensures we have zero safety incidents and minimal impact on any environmentally sensitive
areas we encounter.

OUR PEOPLE
MARK BIRD Director Mark Bird has been working with HEH Civil for the past ten years as a Director and General Manager. Previously Mark had work for Rodmark Machinery for 12 years as the Director/ General Manager. During Mark’s time at HEH Civil he has managed a number of projects for the Tablelands Regional Council, Department Transport and Main Roads and Ergon Energy.
LUKE BIRD Director Luke Bird has been working with HEH Civil for the past ten years as Director and Project Manager. Previously Luke also worked with Rodmark Machinery as Project Manager. During Luke’s time at HEH Civil he has managed a number of projects for various Council’s including Tablelands Regional Council and Cairns Region Council. Other organisations Luke has managed projects for SITA Environmental Solutions, RoadTek and Department Transport and Main Roads.
CHRIS BIRD Director Chris Bird has been working with HEH Civil for the past six years managing all aspects of accounting, finance and business administration for the company. Chris has recently been appointed a Director of HEH Civil. Prior to this Chris managed his own businesses within the Cairns region in a wide range of industries.
ADAM PORTER SEQ, Regional Manager Adam is a degree qualified Civil Engineer with over a decade experience delivering challenging projects throughout Queensland. Prior to joining HEH Civil, Adam held key leadership roles with highly reputable civil contractors. Adam is an accomplished professional with strong practical skills complemented by the experience and intuition that allows him to understand what motivates customers and deliver.
OUR TEAM HEH Civil employ a collaborative team of capable and diversely skilled key personnel. Our Team have the necessary experience, licenses and qualifications to deliver projects to the highest possible standards. In line with Our Values; Continuous Improvement, we are committed to training and developing our people while providing them with a safe and positive environment to work. Our projects are a success because of our highly proficient Engineers, Supervisors, Operators, Labourers, Traffic Controllers and Support staff.
