Valplast Technical Features • 1.5mm thickness on major connectors which allows for flexibility.

• 1mm above the gingival necks of clasped teeth for aesthetics.

• 0.5mm relief around the periphery, clasps and small connectors.

• 1mm inter-dentally between the adjacent teeth and clasped tooth.

• Translucent in shade with X6 different gingival shades available.

• Designed to seat on anterior cingulum areas, acts as a rest seat.




Valplast Other Design Factors • No adverse stress on teeth, soft tissues, periodontum or gingiva due to

its design factors.

Valplast Limitations

• Patients with bad oral / denture hygiene.

• Gum fitted teeth, tight occlusion needs a minimum of 5 mm occulsal

space (acrylic teeth do not have a chemical bond with nylon, it solely

relies on mechanical retention via mechnical holes drilled through the

teeth) .

• F/F Dentures.

• Over closed OVD

• Not every case is suitable,checked via primary models and discussed.




Is Valplast a gum stripper?Valplast incorporates Wolffs Law.

Wolffs Law

• Bone density increases with too much force.

• Bone resorption occurs with not enough force.

• Balanced distribution of forces over a larger area can eliminate

unnecessary stress.

• Valplast incorporates natural forces due to the flexibility and design

factors with a massage action to maintain bone density.




Valplast Clinical Help

• Always use special trays, alginate is recommended as it's muco-static

and not compressive of the soft tissues.

• Place Valplast in a cup of warm water before insertion.

• Clasps can be placed in hot water to increase or decrease retention.

• Valplast can have additions and re-bases but will only bond with

Valplast flexible dentures.
