Key pedagogic principles: 1. Need to scaffold the eportfolio2. Include reflection on learning3. Design context sensitive e-support4. Make it easy to use/intuitive5. Use to record formal/informal learning6. Use to support bite-sized learning7. Can be structured into larger awards8. Needs to be transferable and portable
