Valencia The port city of Valencia lies on Spain’s

south eastern coast, where the Turia Riv-

er meets the Mediterranean Sea. It’s

known for its City of Arts and Sciences,

with futuristic structures including a plane-

tarium, an oceanarium and an interactive

museum. Valencia also has several

beaches, including some within nearby

Albufera Park, a wetlands reserve with a

lake and walking trails.

Spain’s third-largest city is a magnificent

place, content for Madrid and Barcelona

to grab the headlines while it gets on with

being a wonderfully liveable city with thriv-

ing cultural, eating and nightlife scenes.

Never afraid to innovate, Valencia divert-

ed its flood-prone river to the outskirts of

town and converted the former riverbed

into a superb green ribbon of park winding

right through the city. On it are the strik-

ingly futuristic buildings of the Ciudad de

las Artes y las Ciencias, designed by local

boy Santiago Calatrava. Other brilliant

contemporary buildings grace the city,

which also has a fistful of fabu-

lous Modernista architecture, great muse-

ums and a large, characterful old quarter.

Valencia, surrounded by its huerta, a fer-

tile fruit-and-veg farmland, is famous as

the home of rice dishes such as paella,

but its buzzy dining scene offers plenty

more besides.

Many players dream of playing football at

the highest levels, however, rarely get

the real opportunity of doing it. Valencia

is one of the most famous footballing cit-

ies in Europe,

With two famous “La Liga” clubs, Valen-

cia CF and UD Levante in the same city

and two more, Villarreal CF and Elche

CF in the Valencia Province, it makes it

the ideal location . Valencia is a hotbed

of football development which offers a

unique opportunity to experience football

development that is highly acclaimed

with its football philosophy and method-

ologies. Spain has more licensed coach-

es than most major European countries

and with a good level of education

comes an advanced level of environment

to grow and learn.

Football in Spain

The men's national teams of Spain, in all cat-

egories, have won a total of 26 titles in FIFA,

UEFA, and Olympic tournaments. The First

Division of the Liga de Fútbol Profesional,

commonly known in the English-speaking

world as La Liga, is one of the strongest foot-

ball league in Europe and the world. Today

two players who have won the last 7 ballon D

or trophies play in Spain. Barcelona and Real

Madrid are perhaps two of the biggest foot-

ball clubs in world football history. Today Li-

onel Messi is recognised as perhaps the

greatest ever footballer to walk the planet.

This fanatic support creates a very competi-

tive environment with approximately 21649

registered football clubs nationwide. Spain's

success at domestic and international level

has largely been credited to the success of

FC Barcelona and has become renown for

youth development with many nations at-

tempting to replicate the Spanish methodolo-

gy.

Valencia

Valencia enjoys 320 days a year of glori-

ous sunshine. It is a Perfect place to live

and be outside enjoying the River Gar-

dens, sitting at a cafe or exploring the

mountains and fields that surround the

city.

From its Roman founding over 2000

years ago it has been fiercely contested

over as a most desirable place to live.

The Romans, Visigoths, Moors and

Christian Kingdoms all fought over the

sunny fertile plain that makes up and

surrounds Valencia.

Valencia is a proud city. The original Lat-

in name of the city was Valentia, mean-

ing "strength", or "valour", Today it repre-

sents the essence of contemporary

Spain—daring design and architecture

along with experimental cuisine—but re-

mains conservative and proud of its tra-

ditions.

We are not talking about joining any Academy here, our aim is signing players with real clubs and

fighting for a position in the team, week in week out. Only serious players need apply with the atti-

tude and aptitude required to succeed.

We have formed strong relationships with many of the clubs surrounding the city of Valencia, includ-

ing contacts in Barcelona, Madrid and other European nations. For any of the players that are suc-

cessful, they are offered a position in their respective age group at the club they have successfully

trained with. Moving forward the player has to compete extremely hard at every training session to

earn himself a spot in the first 11.

For any players not obtaining a European passport, the doors are still open. By obtaining a student

visa the player can remain in Spain for a period of 12 months. We will provide you with the neces-

sary documentation to present to your local Spanish embassy.

Players can continue with their studies whilst training fulltime to achieve their goals.

We have also teamed up with the Spanish Pro Football Academy which is under the leadership of

their highly qualified Staff David Sanz and Ruben Estelles. David has worked with teams from Va-

lencia FC’s famed academy along with coaching stints throughout Valencia at different clubs and

academies. He is a holder of a UEFA pro licence and is the right man to oversee the development

on the field for our players. Ruben was previously head coach at REFA Academy and also worked
