What is in a VWhat is in a VWhat is in a VWhat is in a VWhat is in a Vaccine?accine?accine?accine?accine? It is said that vaccines contain monkey

pus. While it is true that some do, vaccines

contain a lot more than just mares urine orfluid from animal pistules. When you take yoursmall child in for his shots, this is a sam-pling of what will be injected into him:

Formaldehyde Also known as formalin, this is a major constituent of embalming fluid. It isa powerful killer of living cells and is poisonous tothe nervous, reproductive, immune, and respira-tory systems. It also damages the liver. It is a car-cinogen and linked to leukemia and cancer of the

    brain, colon, and lymph.

Tri (n) butylphosphate A suspected nerveand kidney poison. Polysorbate 80 This absorbent is known

to cause cancer in test animals. Ammonium sulfate This poisonous salt

damages the gastrointesinal tract, the liver, andnerve and respiratory systems.

Animal, bacterial, and viral DNA Takeninto the human body, these substances are ab-sorbed by the DNA, resulting in genetic mutations.

Mercury In the form of Thimerosal, it isincluded in vaccines to kill some of the dangerous

bacteria and viruses in vaccine fluid. But thimero-sal is, itself, one of the most poisonous substancesknown to mankind. It especially affects the brain, intestines, liver, kidneys, and bone marrow. Ex-tremely small amounts can cause nerve damage, paralysis, and death. It is a major cause of autismin children; even in extremely small amounts, it isone of the most dangerous substances in this list.

Beta-propiolactone This preservant isknown to cause cancer; it is poison to the liver, res-piratory organs, skin, sense organs, and alimen-tary tract.

Latex rubber Minute amounts of this cancause life-threatening allergic reactions.

Monosodium glutamate Also known asMSG, glutamate, and glutamic acid, this substanceis mutagenic and teratogenic; that is, it is known tocause developmental malformation and monstrosi-ties. This is because it is a neurotoxin, producingallergic reactions ranging from mild to severe.

Gentamicin sulfate This antibiotic causesmild to life threatening allergic reactions.

Aluminum A cause of brain damage and asuspected factor in Alzheimers disease, dementia, seizures, and comas. Allergic reactions can occur

on the skin. Microorganisms These include both live

and dead viruses, bacteria, and toxins emitted bythem. For example, the polio vaccine was contami-nated with a monkey virus which is now being foundin the bones, lung lining (mesothelioma), brain tu-mors, and lymphomas of humans.

Neomycin sulfate This antibiotic inter-feres with vitamin B

    6absorption. When B

    6is not

properly absorbed, a rare form of epilepsy andmental retardation can occur. Allergic reactions can

vary from mild to life threatening. Polymyxin B A powerful antibiotic which

    can produce dangerous allergic reactions.

Genetically modified yeast Absorbed bythe recipients DNA, it causes genetic mutations. Glutaraldehyde Poisonous, if ingested. It

causes birth defects in experimental animals. Gelatin This is produced from pigs feet

and skins, calf and cattle skins, and demineralizedcattle bones. Allergic reactions have been reported.

Phenol Also known as phenoxyethanol (2-PE), this substance is also used as antifreeze. Whenanimals drink antifreeze, they die a horrible death.Phenol is toxic to all cells and capable of disablingthe immune systems primary response mechanism.

Human cells These are taken from abortedfetal (human baby) tissue and human albumin.

Animal cells Also included in vaccines willbe found a variety of the following substances: pigblood, horse blood, and calf serum. Pieces of guineapigs, rabbit brain, dog kidney, cow heart, monkeykidney, chick embryo, and eggs of chickens andducks. No check is made to guarantee that theseincluded animal parts will not be diseased. The vac-cine manufacturer hopes that all the various poi-sonous chemicals included in the vaccine will killthe bacteria and viruses.

A major cause of the Roman Empires decline, after six centuries of world dominance was its re-placement of stone aqueducts by lead pipes for thetransport and supply of drinking water. Romanengineers, the best in the world, turned their fellowcitizens into neurological cripples. Today our ownbest and brightest, with the best of intentions, achieve the same end through childhood vaccina-tion programs yielding the modern scourges of

    hyperactivity, learning disabilities, autism, ap-

petite disorders, and impulsive violence.Har-ris L. Coulter, Ph.D.

Should You Use Homeopathic Remedies? What are homeopathic medicines? Samuel

Hahnemann, a German physician, devised the basic for-mulas about 200 years ago. When we actually investi-

gate the principles underlying them, we find that home-opathy is something we should leave alone.

Satan knows the power of the true health message, and he has developed a counterfeit. Just as the truehealth message, if correctly taught and practiced, willlead people to Jesus and obedience to His laws, so thefalse one will lead people in the wrong direction.

One of the more widely used and apparently inno-cent forms of alternative medicine is homeopathy, whichis based on the so-called Law of Similars that like

cures like. Thus, if a snake bites you, the remedy is toswallow a small amount of snake poison. Now really, does that sound logical? If you drink a little cyanide,

will a little more cure you? The word, homeopathy, comes from two Greek words (homoiois andpathos)which mean like and suffering. Homeopathy says to

give the patient a little of that which is causing his suf-fering or sickness, and he will get well.

Like a variety of Chinese and Hindu medicines, ho-

meopathy also claims to heal through the principle ofthe universal energy or chi. Not identifiable by scien-tific methods, the chi is power within you, that mustbe released. Does homeopathy sound like something youshould be using?

The actual principles upon which homeopathy op-erates are quite strange. First, they frequently involve

substances which are not healthful, and may even bedangerous. Second, there is the peculiar concept thatsomething which is just about nothing has great heal-ing power; and the closer to nothing it gets, the greaterits curative benefits! Some consider the result to be a

sort of witchcraft. It is highly significant that native witchdoctors use similar substances and methods.

First, there are the poisons which are used: Some

of the substances includeRhus toxicodendron (poisonivy),Apis mellifica (pieces of a dead honey bee), Sepia(the inky fluid from a cuttle fish, a type of squid), Silicea

(pieces of flint rock), and Sulfur.Inorganic sulfur (that is, sulfur not in food itself)

should never be placed in the human body. But then, the other things listed above should not either.

Second, there is the mysterious way such sub-stances are prepared: Small amounts of minerals, orpieces of animals or plants, are diluted. Homeopathicdoctor George Vithoulkas states, Modern homeopathsuse potencies up to the hundred centesimal and beyond. . The implications of this discovery are staggering. Asubstance shaken and diluted to a dilution of 1 in100,000 parts, even to a total of 60 zeros and more, still acts to cure disease, quickly and permanently. Hegoes on to explain, Clearly those phenomena cannot be

explained by ordinary chemical mechanisms. The dilu-tions are so astronomically small that not even onemolecule of the original medicine is left.

Such is not a natural remedy, nor is it any kind ofremedy; it is spiritistic healing.

Are you beginning to agree that this sounds likewitchcraft? Something is reduced to nothing, and thenit produces marvelous healing. Similar to it is hypno-tism, which seems to be a nothing, merely a wave of thehand putting a person to sleep for a few minutes; yet it

also seems to produce great healing. But you and I knowthat it is extremely unsafe to tamper with.

If there is not even one molecule of the original medi-

cine left, what is in it that cures the patient? The founder,Hahnemann, said the healing was accomplished by aspirit-like essence. Do you want to be relieved of your

pain by a spirit-like essence?Samuel Hahnemann explained the matter further:

True disease is not a physical entity. Rather, illness

begins at the spiritual level as an aberration or imbal-ance of the spirit-like power, or the vital principle thatanimates the human body. Only later does this aberra-tion manifest itself as physical illness or disease . . Be-cause the true cause of disease is spiritual, it must betreated with a spiritual medicine or remedy.

There is also another spirit in the remedy: Theoriginal batch of poison was repeatedly diluted with al-cohol, which was then given to you to drink.

If you want to know the true cause of disease, and

the God-given remedies to both avoid and cure it, readMinistry of Healing, 126-128.

Here is how Jethro Kloss described homeopathy inthe original edition of his book,Back to Eden. (For somereason, the following paragraph has been removed from

the current edition.)In the early part of the eighteenth century, a Ger-

man physician, by the name of Hahnemann, set forth

the idea that it would be better to give smaller doses ofmedicines. He started giving medicines in the powderedform, and in such small doses that it had little effect as

a drug. He did not discard the old materia medica (drugmedications), but in addition to giving mercury, arsenic,

and all other minerals, he included some of the mostfilthy serums, unsanitary preparations from bees, bed-bugs, snake poisons, etc. Anyone with intelligence, whowould take a few minutes to think about the make-up

of the human body, would realize that minerals and suchunsanitary medicines could not prove a panacea for anyof the ills of man that they seemed to think they would.

Bible/Spirit of Prophecy remedies lead to obedienceto the laws of God. Those remedies also agree with natu-ral law. They are never poison! Repeatedly, the Spirit ofProphecy defines drugs as poisons (see our MedicalMissionary Manual, chapter 16).

Olestra is a strange kind of synthetic vegetableoil which is not derived from plants or animals.Because it is much cheaper to produce, major foodmanufacturers petitioned the U.S. Food and Drug

Administration (FDA) to approve it for human con-

sumption. In spite of vigorous protests by physiologists and

nutritionists about this food substitute for veg-etable oil, the FDA approved it as an oil substitute.

Here are several statements by nutritional ex-perts:

Olestra is a type of mineral oil! . . I believe this

is another hoax and deception being foisted on . .the American people.Dr. Sheldon Margen, Pub-lic Health Nutrition, University of California, Ber-

    keley.

Olestra . . constitutes a public health timebomb. Dr. John S. Bertram, Cancer ResearchCenter of Hawaii, University of Hawaii.

This substance has the potential to do signifi-cant harm.Dr. Earnst J. Schaefer, U.S. Depart-ment of Agriculture and Human Nutrition Re-

search Center on Aging at Tufts University.

We are concerned about the high incidences of gastrointestinal effects, ranging from diarrhea tofecal urgency, that are caused by the consumptionof modest levels of olestra.Dr. Mark Donowitz,

Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

The bowel disturbances and impaired absorp-tion of fat-soluble vitamins, including carotenoids. . are sufficient reasons to have serious reserva-tions about this food additive and to recommendthat it not be introduced as a food additive.Dr.

Ian Greaves, University of Minnesota School of

    Public Health.

It is clear folly to introduce this product intothe diet of children.Dr. Herbert Needleman,

University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.

There are too many unanswered questions re-maining about the safety and long-term publichealth consequences of olestra consumption. Therefore, the American Public Health Association

does not support approval for olestra at this time.Dr. Fernando Trevino, American Public Health As-

    sociation.

Even low levels of harm should not be toler-ated when introducing new products into the foodsupply . . For olestra, the harm appears substan-tial. We would argue strongly that the FDA shouldnot approve olestra for use in foods, nor should it

be allowed into the U.S. food supply.Drs. JohnD. Potter and Johanna Lampe, Fred Hutchinson

    Cancer Research Center, Seattle.

The adverse effects of olestra outweigh its po-

tential benefits.Jerianne Hemimendinger, Can-cer Research Center, Denver.

Olestraeven in limited usecan be poten-tially harmful to the public . . I do not believe thatour society can afford such a risk [of macular de-

generation within the eyes].Dr. Norman Krinsky,Tufts University School of Medicine.

There is strong reason to suspect that the ef-fects of olestra will include increases in cancer, heartdisease, stroke, and blindness.Drs. Walter Willettand Meir Stampfer, Harvard School of Public

    Health.

These estimates clearly demonstrate that themagnitude of carotenoid [pro-vitamin A] reductiondemonstrated in controlled feeding studies ofolestra could potentially produce a large numberof deaths annually and major morbidity in the U.S.population . . We . . strongly encourage you [Dr.Kessler, head of the FDA] to avoid submitting theU.S. population, including children and pregnant

women, to a massive uncontrolled experiment withpotentially disastrous consequences.Drs. WalterWillett and Meir Stampfer, Harvard School of Pub-

lic Health. (Their petition to the Food and Drug

Administration was endorsed by 25 other nutri-tion experts).

I recall an incident about 30 years ago, when

(because it was so much cheaper to manufacture)an Italian olive oil firm sold fine-grade machine oilto North Africans as olive oil. It produced blind-ness in thousands of people. Very likely, the blind-ness was caused by the mineral oil absorbing vita-min A and carotenoids from the body. vf
