ADDRESSING THE ISSUE Problem: The rate of unvaccinated children in the Arizona

school system is increasing each year, due to the generous amount of exemptions and lax policy reinforcement

“Nearly one in every three kindergarteners who enrolled last year without measles vaccinations were missing exemption forms required by state law.”

Stance: I believe that the children should be required to get all vaccinations before they attend to ensure the safety of their health and the others around them

Reason: I choose this topic because of my major, early childhood education, because researching this could help to be educated in for my future career

The solution should be very clear. The Arizona school system should make vaccination mandatory, allowing only medical exemptions

Beneficial to students health and safety

Mississippi and Virginia have the highest vaccination rate throughout the school systems due to their strict vaccination policy

99.7% vaccination rate Policy prevented any outbreaks within schools
