The CornerStoneteam has seen severalchanges in the past fewyears. More and moreclients were requesting alarger percentage of green building materialsand products offering ad-ditional energy-savingefficiencies in their newhomes. In keeping thetradition of being a lead-er in the northern Wis-consin building circlesand giving their cus-tomers even more op-tions, CornerStone offi-cially opened its newestgreen-certified modelhome, the GreenStone, inJanuary 2011.
The GreenStone fea-tures a totally differentlook and material selec-tion from the other Cor-nerStone model homespresently displayed. Thefact is, CornerStone hasbeen building green formany years and felt itwas time to provide itscustomers with the op-tion to certify their Cor-nerStone home at littleor no additional cost.
While some of theseproducts add costs on thefront end of the project, the goal is to recapturethis initial investmentwith energy savings overtime while being sensi-
