Maître (m/f) For the new à-la-carte restaurant WNDRLX we are looking for a Maître, starting as of the 1st of June 2018. You will have access to a completely new furnished restaurant, with accompanying kitchen. Go for a sneak preview to: www.wndrlx.com/de/restaurant. We are looking for someone who, like us, is ambitious and and an entrepreneur. WNDRLX offers a small, qualitative high-quality à la carte, consisting of a perfect combination of international and local dishes, alternating with daily changing surprise menus. This is your unique opportunity to help shape a new concept, of course in consultation with the owners. In this position you will take care of the quality level of the service towards the guest (in all its facets), and you are partly responsible for the wine policy of the restaurant. For this you work closely with the Chef, Sous-Chefs and the owners, as well as with motivated service staff who will fall under your supervision. - Extensive experience as host(ess), experience as sommelier is an absolute advantage - Responsible for the restaurant - Independently (can) run dinners and lunches - Prepare the tables and prepare all daily Mise-en-place in the restaurant - Making wine/food combinations, together with the Chef, Sous-Chef and owners - Create schedules for the service staff - Managing the staff in the restaurant - Maintaining and evaluating the service and product knowledge of the service staff - Conducting job interviews for possibly new service staff. - Arrange the purchase/stock of the beverages and wines; maintains contact with drinks/wine supplier. - Full-time available and flexible The restaurant has 74 couverts with a bar, lounge with fireplace and an outdoor terrace with pond. WNDRLX serves an international menu with a local touch, made with mainly homemade, honest and fresh products. Open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner.
