Thank you for purchasing a SilverCrest product.

The SilverCrest Bluetooth 3.0 SFA 30 B1 hands-free kit, hereinafter referred to as hands-free kit, enables you to conveniently use your mobile phone in hands-free mode. Power is supplied via a 12V/24V car power outlet.

Intended use

This hands-free kit is an electronic communications device. It allows you to make or answer telephone calls while driving, without having to hold your mobile phone. This hands-free kit is not designed for commercial use or operation in a company. Use the hands-free kit only for private purposes as any other use is not as intended. This hands-free kit meets all relevant norms and standards in conjunction with CE conformity. In the event of any modification to the hands-free kit that was not approved by the manufacturer, compliance with these standards is no longer guaranteed. The manufacturer does not accept any liability for any resulting damage or faults in such cases.

Please observe the regulations and laws in the country of use.

Safety instructions Before using the hands-free kit for the first time, read the following instructions and pay attention to all warnings, even if you are familiar with handling electronic devices. Store these instructions in a safe place for future reference. If you sell the hands-free kit or pass it on, always include these instructions. They are an integral part of the hands-free kit.

DANGER! This symbol together with the word DANGER indicates an impending dangerous situation which, if not prevented, can lead to serious injuries or even death.

DANGER! This hands-free kit can be used by children aged 8 and older and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised or have been instructed on the safe use of the hands-free kit and understand the resulting risks. Children must not play with the hands-free kit. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.

Always keep plastic packaging away from children. It poses a suffocation risk!

DANGER! If smoke is produced, or there are any unusual sounds or smells, disconnect the hands-free kit from the power supply immediately and remove the battery. In such cases, the hands-free kit should not be used until it has been inspected by authorised service personnel. Never inhale smoke from a potential device fire. If you have inhaled smoke, however, consult a doctor. The inhalation of smoke can be harmful.

WARNING! The hands-free kit and its accessories must not become damaged in order to prevent hazards. The hands-free kit must not be used if it is damaged.

DANGER! Ensure that no fire sources (e.g. burning candles) are placed on or near the hands-free kit. It poses a fire hazard!

WARNING! The hands-free kit must never be exposed to any direct heat sources (for example, heaters) or direct sunlight or artificial light. Also avoid contact with dripping water and splashes and corrosive liquids. Do not use the hands-free kit near water. In particular, the hands-free kit should never be submerged in liquid and do not place any items filled with liquid, for example, vases or drinks, near the hands-free kit. Also ensure that the hands-free kit is never subjected to excessive shocks and vibrations. Furthermore, no foreign objects may penetrate the device. Otherwise, the hands-free kit could be damaged.

DANGER! Road safety always comes first! Mount the hands-free kit ideally on the sun visor in your vehicle so that it does not obstruct you when driving. The hand-free kit must never be mounted in the inflation range of an air bag.

WARNING! Please bear in mind that wirelessly transmitted data can be intercepted by unauthorised third parties.

DANGER! In the event of improper use of the battery, there is a risk of explosion and leakage. Only replace the battery with an identical model or one recommended by the manufacturer. Never replace the battery in an environment where there is a risk of explosion. During the insertion or removal of the battery, there might be a spark that could cause an explosion. Areas where there is an explosion risk are usually labelled as such, although not always clearly. This includes tank areas such as below deck on boats, refuelling or fuel storage areas, areas in which the air contains chemicals or particles such as e.g. cereals, dust or metallic powder as well as in all areas in which you are normally instructed to switch off your engine.

DANGER! The battery must not be thrown into fire. It poses a risk of explosion.

DANGER! The terminals of the battery must not be short-circuited. The battery must not be opened, damaged or deformed. It poses a risk of explosion.

DANGER! There is a risk of suffocation if you swallow the battery.

Car charger adapter

WARNING! Always handle the car charger adapter by the connector and do not pull on the connection cable itself.

WARNING! Do not place furniture or other heavy objects on the connection cable and ensure that it is not kinked.

WARNING! The connection cable must be laid in such a manner that it does not obstruct you when driving the vehicle.

DANGER! Do not use adapter plugs or extension cables and do not make any alterations to the connection cable. If the connection cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its customer service representative or a similarly qualified person to prevent any safety hazards. Remove the car charger adapter from the car power socket.

First use Before you use the hands-free kit for the first time, please insert the enclosed lithium-ion battery and charge it fully.

WARNING! Please remove the car charger adapter when the engine is switched off to save the battery of your vehicle.

Inserting the lithium-ion battery Open the battery compartment (9) by pressing the centre of the battery compartment cover and removing it in the direction of the imprinted arrow. Insert the lithium-ion battery in the battery compartment (9) as shown in the illustration. Due to its design, it is not possible to insert the battery incorrectly. After inserting the battery, close the battery compartment (9) with the battery compartment cover.

Charging the lithium-ion battery Charge the lithium-ion battery fully before its first use. To do so, connect the USB connector of the enclosed car charger adapter to the USB charging socket (7) of the hands-free kit. Then insert the car charger adapter into an appropriate power outlet of your vehicle. The LED indicator (4) lights up orange while charging. A full charge cycle takes approximately 3 hours. If charging is complete, the LED indicator (4) goes out. Then disconnect the car charger adapter from the power outlet and the hands-free kit.

WARNING! Charge the battery only when the engine is running to save the battery of your vehicle.

Alternatively, you can also charge the battery via a PC or an external power supply. A connection cable and a proper USB connector are required for this purpose.

Switching on/off the hands-free kit Press the multifunction button (2) for approx. 5 seconds until a beep sounds and the LED indicator (4) flashes blue. The hands-free kit is now ready to use.

To switch off the hands-free kit, press the multifunction button (2) again for approx. 4 seconds. A beep sounds, the LED indicator (4) flashes orange briefly several times and then goes out completely.

Connect to compatible mobile phones Pairing With the hands-free kit switched off, keep the multifunction button (2) pressed for approx. 9 seconds until a beep sounds and the LED indicator (4) alternates between flashing orange and blue. The hands-free kit is now in search mode. Activate the Bluetooth function of your mobile phone and let it search for Bluetooth devices nearby. For further details, please read the instructions of your mobile phone. Select the device "SFA 30 B1" from the list of devices which are found.

If you are asked for a PIN during the pairing process, enter "0000".

The name of the hands-free kit "SFA 30 B1" now appears in the list of devices connected to your mobile phone. The hands-free kit is now in standby mode and the LED indicator (4) flashes blue once briefly at regular intervals. Once the device is disconnected, it flashes blue twice. You can connect or pair additional devices to the hands-free kit in the same manner. The pairing begins for each device with the hands-free kit switched off as described above. The hands-free kit then has several "known" devices. This status is a prerequisite for an active connection between the hands-free kit and other devices. A maximum of 3 devices can be saved as "known devices". The number of devices that can be actively connected to the hands-free kit is limited to two. As soon as one or two of the known devices are in the vicinity of the hands-free kit, the connection to these devices is established automatically. You may need to confirm the connection on your mobile phone. If a third known device now comes in the vicinity of

the hands-free kit, the connection to it is blocked until one of the two active connections is interrupted or one of the two devices leaves the transmission range. If one of the two active connected devices is no longer paired, pairing is possible for the third (waiting) device. Once the hands-free kit has established a telephone connection with one of the mobile phones which is paired at the same time, no telephone connection can be established with the second device via the hands-free kit. This blocking is cancelled once the first telephone connection has ended.

The pairing process can take up to 30 seconds depending on the mobile phone which is used.

If two devices are connected to the hands-free kit, different ring tones will be used for incoming calls.

Making calls

If you want to make a call, dial the phone number as usual on your mobile phone. The LED indicator (4) rapidly

flashes blue when the telephone connection is established. Once the telephone connection is established, the LED

indicator (4) flashes blue once followed by a long pause.

Calling via voice dialling The hands-free kit provides the option of making calls via voice dialling if your mobile phone supports this function and

it is enabled. To establish a connection via voice dialling, press the multifunction button (2) of the hands-free kit once

briefly in standby mode and then clearly say the name of the desired participant. For more detailed information on the

voice dialling function of your mobile phone, please refer to the instructions of the mobile phone.

Accept / reject calls

The hands-free kit rings for an incoming call. The LED indicator (4) rapidly flashes blue when the telephone connection

is established. Answer the call by briefly pressing the multifunction button (2). Once the telephone connection is

established, the LED indicator (4) flashes blue once followed by a long pause.

If the multifunction button (2) is pressed for approx. two seconds, the call can be transferred to the mobile phone. The

call can then also be subsequently retrieved in the same manner.

To reject the call, press the multifunction button (2) for approx. 2 seconds until a beep sounds.

If two mobile phones are connected to the hands-free kit at the same time and a call is already being taken via the hand-free kit, a call to the second mobile phone is handled as follows: the second call is transferred to the hands-free kit as soon as it is accepted on the mobile phone. The first call is put on hold until the second call has finished. Then the first call can be continued via the hands-free kit.

Volume setting You can increase the volume according to your needs during a call with the + button (5). A beep sounds if the

maximum volume is reached. You can also reduce the volume with the - button (6). A beep sounds if the minimum

volume is reached.

Muting microphone You can use the mute button (1) to temporarily switch off the microphone (3) during a call so that the other person can

no longer hear you. In this case, press the mute button (1) for approx. 2 seconds until a confirmation tone sounds and

the LED indicator (4) flashes orange once. The microphone is now muted. When muted, 2 beeps sound at regular

intervals to remind you of the muting. If you want to end the muting, press the mute button (1) again for approx. 2

seconds. A beep sounds and you are back in normal talk mode in which the other person can hear you.

Ending call To end a call, press the multifunction button (2) once briefly. You will hear a confirmation tone when you release the

button.

Redialling

You can redial the last number that was called via the hands-free kit. In this case, press the + button (5) for approx. 2

seconds in standby mode until a confirmation tone sounds.

Mounting on the sun visor You can mount the hands-free kit on the sun visor of your vehicle by means of the enclosed mounting clip. To do so, first attach the mounting clip to the clip fixing (10) on the back of your hands-free kit.

You can now easily attach the hands-free kit to the sun visor of your vehicle.

WARNING! The hands-free kit must be attached in such a manner that your vision is not impeded.

Storage when not in use

You should recharge the battery at regular intervals if you do not use the device for a prolonged period of time. This will maintain the performance of the battery. Store the device in a dry, clean and cool location.

Cleaning / maintenance

Maintenance

DANGER! It is necessary to repair the hands-free kit if it has been damaged in any way, for example, if the housing is damaged, if liquid or objects have penetrated the hands-free kit or if it has been exposed to rain or moisture. Repairs are also required if the hands-free kit is not working properly or has been dropped. If you notice any smoke, unusual noises or strange odours, remove the car charger adapter immediately from the socket and remove the battery. In such cases, the hands-free kit should not be used until it has been inspected by authorised service personnel. Only have the device repaired by qualified personnel. Never open the housing of the hands-free kit. Furthermore, the hands-free kit could be damaged upon opening and this would void your warranty.

Cleaning

WARNING! Disconnect the hands-free kit from the power supply before cleaning in order to prevent hazards. Use a dry cloth for cleaning and never use any solvent or cleaner that would corrode the plastic materials. Ensure that no liquid can penetrate the housing. Use a slightly damp cloth for more stubborn dirt.

Troubleshooting

All aforementioned functions depend on the functionality of the mobile phone which is used. It is possible that some functions may not be supported.

The hands-free kit is not working.

Check whether the lithium-ion battery is charged. Charge it if necessary.

Check whether the hands-free kit is switched on and the connection to the mobile phone is established.

The lithium-ion battery is not charged.

Check whether the car charge adapter is inserted correctly in the power outlet.

Check whether the USB connector of the car charger adapter is inserted correctly in the USB charging socket (7)

of the hands-free kit.

Turn on the ignition of your vehicle because some vehicles supply power to the power outlet only when the

ignition is turned on.

Check whether the car charger adapter's fuse is faulty and replace it if necessary. To do so remove the adapter's

contact closure by turning it anti-clockwise. Replace the faulty fuse with a new one of the same type (see technical

data) and then secure the contact closure by turning it clockwise.

Environmental and disposal information When this symbol appears on a product, this indicates that the device is subject to the European Directive 2012/19/EU. All old electrical and electronic devices must be separated from normal household waste and disposed of at designated state facilities. The correct disposal of old devices in this manner will prevent environmental pollution and human health hazards. For further information about proper disposal, contact your local authorities, waste disposal office or the shop where you bought the device.

Remember to protect the environment. Used batteries should not be disposed of in household waste. They must be taken to a collection point for old batteries. Please note that only discharged batteries may be deposited in battery

recycling bins. Care must be taken to ensure that batteries that are not fully discharged do not short circuit. Cover batteries that are not fully discharged with tape to prevent short circuits.

Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally compatible manner. Cardboard can be put out for municipal paper collections or brought to public collection points for recycling. Films and plastic used for packaging the device are collected by your local disposal services and disposed of in an environmentally compatible manner.

Conformity information This hands-free kit meets the basic requirements and other relevant regulations of the R&TTE Directive 1999/5/EC, the EMC Directive 2004/108/EC, the Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EC as well as the RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU. as proof of purchase. Before using your product for the first time, please read the enclosed documentation. Should any

problems arise which cannot be solved in this way, please call our hotline. Please have the article number and, if

available, the serial number to hand for all enquiries. If it is not possible to solve the problem on the phone, our hotline

support staff will initiate further servicing procedures depending on the fault. Within the warranty period the product

will be repaired or replaced free of charge as we deem appropriate. No new warranty period commences if the

product is repaired or replaced. Consumables such as batteries, rechargeable batteries and lamps are not covered by

the warranty.

Insertion de la batterie lithium-ion Ouvrez le compartiment de la batterie (9) en appuyant au milieu du couvercle du compartiment puis en le faisant glisser dans le sens de la flche grave. Placez la batterie lithium-ion dans le compartiment de la batterie (9) comme indiqu sur la photo suivante. La batterie est construite de sorte qu'il est impossible de l'installer de manire incorrecte. Une fois la batterie en place, fermez le compartiment de la batterie (9) avec le couvercle ddi.

Chargement de la batterie lithium-ion Chargez entirement la batterie lithium-ion avant sa premire utilisation. Pour ce faire, branchez le connecteur USB de l'adaptateur de charge pour vhicule fourni sur le port pour chargement via USB (7) du systme mains libres. Ensuite, branchez l'adaptateur de charge pour vhicule sur une prise allume-cigares de votre vhicule. La LED (4) est allume en orange pendant le chargement. Un cycle de chargement complet dure environ 3 heures. Lorsque le chargement est termin, la LED (4) s'teint. Dbranchez alors l'adaptateur de charge pour vhicule de la prise allume-cigares et du systme mains libres.

AVERTISSEMENT ! Ne rechargez la batterie que lorsque le moteur tourne afin de prserver la batterie de votre vhicule.

Il est galement possible de recharger la batterie sur un ordinateur ou l'aide d'un bloc d'alimentation externe. Vous aurez alors besoin d'un cble de raccordement USB correspondant.

Allumage et extinction du systme mains libres Appuyez sur la touche multifonctions (2) pendant env. 5 secondes jusqu' ce qu'un bip se fasse entendre et que la LED (4) clignote en bleu. Le systme mains libres est maintenant prt l'emploi.

Pour teindre le systme mains libres, appuyez une nouvelle fois sur la touche multifonctions (2) pendant env. 4 secondes. Un bip se fait entendre, la LED (4) clignote plusieurs fois et brivement en orange puis s'teint.

tablissement d'une connexion avec les tlphones mobiles compatibles Appairage Alors que le systme mains libres est teint, appuyez sur la touche multifonctions (2) pendant environ 9 secondes jusqu' ce qu'un bip se fasse entendre et que la LED (4) clignote en alternance en orange et en bleu. Le systme mains libres se trouve alors en mode de dtection. Activez alors la fonction Bluetooth de votre tlphone mobile et laissez-le rechercher les priphriques Bluetooth proximit. ce sujet, consultez la documentation de votre tlphone mobile. Sur la liste des priphriques dtects, slectionnez l'appareil SFA 30 B1 .

Si un code PIN est demand pendant le processus d'appairage, saisissez 0000 .

Le nom du systme mains libres SFA 30 B1 apparat alors dans la liste des appareils connects sur votre tlphone mobile. Le systme mains libres se trouve alors en mode veille et une seule LED (4) clignote une fois et brivement en bleu. Ds qu'une connexion est coupe, elle clignote deux fois en bleu. Vous pouvez reconnatre et appairer d'autres appareils avec le systme mains libres en procdant de la mme manire. Pour chaque appareil, l'appairage commence comme dcrit plus haut, avec le systme mains libres teint. Aprs cela, le systme mains libres aura plusieurs priphriques connus . Cet tat est une condition requise pour pouvoir tablir une connexion active entre le systme mains libres et d'autres appareils. Il est possible d'enregistrer au maximum 3 appareils comme priphriques connus . Le nombre des appareils pouvant tre connects avec le systme mains libres est limit deux. Ds qu'un ou deux des priphriques connus se trouvent proximit du systme mains libres, la connexion avec ceux-ci est automatiquement tablie. Dans certains cas, vous devez confirmer l'tablissement de la connexion sur votre tlphone mobile. Si un

troisime priphrique connu se retrouve proximit du systme mains libres, la connexion avec celui-ci reste bloque jusqu' ce que l'une des deux connexions actives soit interrompue ou que l'un des deux priphriques quitte la zone de dtection. Lorsque la connexion avec l'un des deux appareils n'est plus active n'est plus appair, l'appairage du troisime appareil (en attente) est possible. Ds que le systme mains libres a tabli une communication tlphonique avec l'un des tlphones mobiles appairs en mme temps, il est impossible d'tablir une communication tlphonique sur le 2e tlphone l'aide du systme mains libres. Ce blocage est supprim ds que la premire communication tlphonique est termine.

En fonction du tlphone mobile utilis, le processus d'appairage peut prendre jusqu' 30 secondes.

Si deux appareils sont connects au systme mains libres, des sonneries d'appel diffrentes sont utilises pour les appels entrants.

Pour passer un appel Si vous voulez passer un appel, slectionnez normalement le numro de tlphone sur votre tlphone mobile. Pendant l'tablissement de la communication, la LED (4) clignote rapidement en bleu. Ds que la communication tlphonique est tablie, la LED (4) clignote une fois en bleu, suivi d'une longue pause.

Appel par commande vocale Le systme mains libres permet de passer des appels par commande vocale si votre tlphone mobile prend cette fonction en charge et qu'elle est active. Pour tablir une communication l'aide de la commande vocale, appuyez en

veille brivement une fois sur la touche multifonctions (2) du systme mains libres et prononcez clairement le nom de la personne que vous souhaitez contacter. Consultez le mode d'emploi de votre tlphone mobile pour plus d'informations sur la fonction de commande vocale de votre tlphone.

Prise/rejet des appels Lorsqu'un appel entrant arrive, le systme mains libres sonne. Pendant l'tablissement de la communication, la LED (4) clignote rapidement en bleu. Acceptez l'appel en appuyant brivement sur la touche multifonctions (2). Ds que la communication tlphonique est tablie, la LED (4) clignote une fois en bleu, suivi d'une longue pause.

Pour transfrer la communication au tlphone mobile, appuyez sur la touche multifonctions (2) pendant env. deux secondes. Procdez de mme si vous souhaitez ensuite rcuprer la communication.

Pour rejeter l'appel, appuyez sur la touche multifonctions (2) pendant env. 2 secondes, jusqu' ce qu'un bip soit mis.

Si deux tlphones mobiles d'un utilisateur sont connects simultanment au systme mains libres et qu'une communication est dj en cours via le systme mains libres, un appel qui arrive sur le deuxime tlphone mobile est gr comme suit : le deuxime appel est pris par le systme mains libres ds qu'il est accept sur le tlphone mobile. La premire communication est conserve en attente jusqu' la fin du deuxime appel. Ensuite, il est possible de poursuivre la premire communication via le systme mains libres.

Rglage du volume Pendant un appel, vous pouvez augmenter le volume en fonction de vos besoins l'aide de la touche + (5). Un bip se fait entendre lorsque le volume maximal est atteint. Vous pouvez galement diminuer le volume l'aide de la touche - (6). Un bip se fait entendre lorsque le volume minimal est atteint.

Couper le microphone La touche Silence (1) vous permet de dsactiver provisoirement le microphone (3) pendant un appel pour viter que votre correspondant vous entende. Pour ce faire, appuyez sur la touche Silence (1) pendant env. 2 secondes jusqu' ce qu'un bip de confirmation se fasse entendre et que la LED (4) clignote une fois en orange. Le microphone est prsent coup. Quand le microphone est coup, 2 bips se font entendre intervalles rguliers afin de vous rappeler que le microphone est coup. Lorsque vous souhaitez mettre fin au mode Silence du microphone, appuyez une nouvelle fois sur la touche Silence (1) pendant env. 2 secondes. Un bip se fait entendre, et vous vous retrouvez en mode de conversation normal qui permet votre correspondant de vous entendre.

Raccrocher Pour mettre fin un appel, appuyez une fois brivement sur la touche multifonctions (2). Un bip de confirmation retentit quand la touche a t relche.

Rappel Avec le systme mains libres, vous pouvez rappeler le dernier numro compos. Pour ce faire, en veille, appuyez sur la touche + (5) pendant env. 2 secondes jusqu' ce qu'un bip de confirmation se fasse entendre.

Fixation au pare-soleil l'aide du clip de fixation fourni, vous pouvez fixer le systme mains libres au pare-soleil de votre vhicule. Pour ce faire, fixez d'abord le clip de fixation dans la fixation pour clip (10) situ l'arrire de votre systme mains libres.

Vous pouvez prsent accrocher facilement le systme mains libres sur le pare-soleil de votre vhicule.

AVERTISSEMENT ! Le systme mains libres doit tre mont de sorte ne pas gner votre visibilit.

Stockage en cas de non-utilisation

Si vous n'utilisez pas l'appareil pendant une dure prolonge, il est recommand de recharger la batterie intervalles rguliers. Cela permet de conserver la capacit de la batterie. Rangez l'appareil dans un endroit propre, sec et frais.

Maintenance

DANGER ! Le systme mains libres doit tre soumis des travaux de rparation lorsqu'il a t endommag, par exemple si le botier a t endommag, si un liquide ou des objets ont pntr l'intrieur du systme mains libres, s'il a t expos la pluie ou l'humidit. Les travaux de rparation sont galement ncessaires lorsqu'il ne fonctionne pas parfaitement ou aprs une chute. Si vous dcelez de la fume, des bruits ou des odeurs inhabituels, retirez immdiatement l'adaptateur pour vhicule de la prise de raccordement et retirez la batterie. Si cela se produit, cessez immdiatement d'utiliser le systme mains libres et faites-le rviser par un service technique agr. En cas de rparation, faites appel uniquement un personnel qualifi. N'ouvrez jamais le botier du systme mains libres. De plus, s'il est ouvert, le systme mains libres peut tre endommag et la garantie ne s'applique plus.

Nettoyage

AVERTISSEMENT ! Avant de nettoyer le systme mains libres peut tre endommag, dbranchez-le de son alimentation lectrique afin d'carter tout risque. Pour le nettoyage, utilisez un chiffon sec, et en aucun cas un solvant ou un dtergent qui attaque les plastiques. Assurez-vous qu'aucun liquide ne pntre dans le botier. En cas d'encrassement important, utilisez uniquement un chiffon humide.

Dpannage

Toutes les fonctions dcrites dpendent des fonctions prises en charge par le tlphone mobile utilis. Il est possible que certaines fonctions ne soient pas prises en charge.

Le systme mains libres ne ragit pas du tout.

Vrifiez que la batterie lithium-ion est charge. Le cas chant, rechargez-le.

Vrifiez si le systme mains libres est allum et s'il est connect au tlphone mobile.

La batterie lithium-ion n'a pas t charge.

Vrifiez si l'adaptateur de charge pour vhicule a bien t branch sur une prise allume-cigares du rseau de bord.

Vrifiez si le connecteur USB de l'adaptateur de charge pour vhicule est bien insr dans le port pour chargement

via USB (7) du systme mains libres.

Tournez la cl de votre vhicule en position allumage, car certains vhicules ne fournissent de l'lectricit au rseau

de bord que si l'allumage est actif.

Vrifiez si le fusible de l'adaptateur de charge pour vhicule est dfectueux et remplacez-le si ncessaire. Dfaites la

fermeture du contact de l'adaptateur de charge pour vhicule par une rotation dans le sens antihoraire. Remplacez

le fusible dfectueux par un fusible de mme type (voir les caractristiques techniques), puis fixez la fermeture de

contact par une rotation dans le sens horaire.

Consignes sur l'environnement et sur l'limination Les appareils portant ce symbole sont soumis la directive europenne 2012/19/EU. Tous les appareils lectriques et lectroniques doivent tre limins sparment des ordures mnagres et remis aux points de collecte prvus par les autorits publiques. Les batteries ne doivent tre dposes dans le container de collecte des piles usages qu'une fois dcharges. Si les batteries ne sont pas entirement dcharges, prendre les prcautions ncessaires pour viter les courts-circuits. Protgez les batteries et piles pas entirement vides l'aide de ruban adhsif pour viter les courts-circuits. liminez aussi l'emballage dans le respect de l'environnement. Les cartons peuvent tre dposs dans des conteneurs de collecte de papier ou dans les dchetteries collectives pour tre recycls. Les films et les lments en plastique livrs doivent tre dposs auprs votre centre de recyclage local afin d'tre limins dans le respect de l'environnement.

Inleiding Hartelijk bedankt dat u heeft gekozen voor een product van SilverCrest.

Met de SilverCrest Bluetooth 3.0 handsfree-installatie SFA 30 B1, hiernavolgend aangeduid als handsfree-installatie, kunt u comfortabel gebruik maken van uw mobiele telefoon in handsfree-modus. De installatie wordt gevoed via een 12V/24V-auto-stopcontact.

Bedoeld gebruik Deze handsfree-installatie is een communicatietechnologisch apparaat. Het stelt u in staat ook tijdens het rijden gesprekken te voeren, zonder daarbij uw mobiele telefoon in de hand te hoeven nemen. Deze handsfree-installatie is niet bedoeld voor gebruik binnen een bedrijf of voor commercile doeleinden. De handsfree-installatie is uitsluitend bestemd voor privgebruik; elk ander gebruik geldt als niet doelmatig. Deze handsfree-installatie voldoet aan alle voor CE-markering relevante richtlijnen en normen. Wijzigingen aan de handsfree-installatie die niet door de fabrikant zijn toegestaan kunnen de overeenstemming met deze richtlijnen en normen teniet doen. Voor hierdoor veroorzaakte schade of storingen wordt door de fabrikant geen enkele aansprakelijkheid aanvaard. Gelieve de nationale voorschriften of wetgeving van het land van gebruik in acht te nemen.

Wijzigingen aan de technische specificaties en het ontwerp kunnen zonder voorafgaande kennisgeving worden uitgevoerd.

Veiligheidsaanwijzingen Lees onderstaande aanwijzingen grondig door voordat u de handsfree-installatie voor de eerste keer gebruikt en neem alle waarschuwingen in acht, zelfs wanneer u ervaren bent in de omgang met elektronische apparatuur. Bewaar deze handleiding goed om er ook later op terug te kunnen vallen. Wanneer u de handsfree-installatie verkoopt of doorgeeft, geef dan in ieder geval ook deze handleiding erbij. Deze maakt deel uit van de handsfree-installatie.

GEVAAR! Deze handsfree-installatie kan worden gebruikt door kinderen vanaf 8 jaar of ouder en door mensen met beperkte lichamelijke, zintuiglijke of verstandelijke vermogens of gebrek aan ervaring en kennis, mits ze onder toezicht staan of over het veilig gebruik van de handsfree-installatie zijn genstrueerd en de eruit voortvloeiende risico's begrijpen. Kinderen mogen niet met de handsfree-installatie spelen. Reiniging of onderhoud mag door kinderen niet zonder toezicht worden uitgevoerd.

Houd ook verpakkingsmateriaal, met name plastic zakken, buiten bereik van kinderen. Er bestaat gevaar voor verstikking!

GEVAAR! Als u merkt dat de handsfree-installatie rook, geur of vreemde geluiden produceert, koppel deze dan onmiddellijk los van de stroomvoorziening en verwijder de accu. In dit geval dient de handsfree-installatie niet verder te worden gebruikt en dient deze te worden nagekeken door een bevoegd onderhoudstechnicus. Adem in geen geval rook in van een eventuele brand in het apparaat. Als u toch rook heeft ingeademd, raadpleeg dan onmiddellijk een arts. Het inademen van rook kan schadelijk zijn voor de gezondheid.

WAARSCHUWING! De handsfree-installatie mag om gevaar te voorkomen niet worden beschadigd. Bij beschadigingen mag de handsfree-installatie niet in gebruik worden genomen.

GEVAAR! Let op dat er zich geen brandende voorwerpen (zoals kaarsen) op of in de buurt van de handsfree-installatie bevinden. Er bestaat dan brandgevaar!

WAARSCHUWING! De handsfree-installatie mag niet worden blootgesteld aan directe warmtebronnen (bijv. radiatoren), direct zonlicht of sterk kunstlicht. Vermijd ook enig contact met waternevel, waterdruppels en

agressieve vloeistoffen. Gebruik de handsfree-installatie niet in de buurt van water. De handsfree-installatie mag vooral nooit worden ondergedompeld, en plaats ook geen met vloeistof gevulde voorwerpen, zoals een vaas of een glas op de handsfree-installatie. Zorg er tevens voor dat de handsfree-installatie niet wordt blootgesteld aan hevige schokken of trillingen. Bovendien mogen er geen vreemde voorwerpen in terecht komen. De handsfree-installatie kan anders beschadigd raken.

GEVAAR! Verkeersveiligheid staat voorop! Monteer de handsfree-installatie altijd dusdanig in uw auto, dat deze u bij het besturen van de auto niet belemmert, bij voorkeur op de zonneklep. De handsfree-installatie mag in geen geval in het werkingsgebied van een airbag worden gemonteerd.

WAARSCHUWING! Houdt u er rekening mee dat draadloos verzonden gegevens wellicht door onbevoegde derden kunnen worden onderschept.

GEVAAR! Bij oneigenlijk gebruik van de accu bestaat er explosiegevaar en gevaar van uitlopen! Vervang de accu alleen door een identiek of door de fabrikant aanbevolen type. Verwissel de accu nooit in een mogelijk explosiegevaarlijke omgeving. Tijdens het plaatsen of verwijderen van de accu kan er een vonk ontstaan die een explosie kan veroorzaken. Explosiegevaarlijke gebieden worden vaak, maar niet altijd eenduidig aangeduid. Dergelijke gebieden zijn de omgeving van tanks, bijv. onderdeks bij schepen, brandstoftransportleidingen en brandstofopslagen, gebieden waar de lucht chemicalin of deeltjes bevat, zoals meel, stof of metaalpoeder, en alle andere gebieden waar normaal gesproken geldt dat u de motor van uw auto moet uitschakelen.

GEVAAR! De accu mag niet in het vuur worden geworpen. Er bestaat explosiegevaar.

GEVAAR! De aansluitingen van de accu mogen niet worden kortgesloten. De accu mag niet worden geopend, beschadigd of vervormd. Er bestaat explosiegevaar.

GEVAAR! Bij inslikken van de accu bestaat het risico op verstikking.

GEVAAR! De handsfree-installatie mag uitsluitend met een Li-ion-accu type BL-5B van de fabrikant Shen Zhen Xin Hong Xing Energy Technology CO., LTD worden gebruikt. Anders bestaat er gevaar voor brand en explosie.

Auto-oplaadadapter

WAARSCHUWING! Pak de auto-oplaadadapter altijd beet aan de stekker en trek nooit aan de aansluitkabel zelf.

WAARSCHUWING! Plaats geen meubels of andere zware voorwerpen op de aansluitkabel en let erop dat deze niet knikt.

WAARSCHUWING! De aansluitkabel dient dusdanig te worden gelegd, dat het bij het besturen van de auto niet belemmert.

GEVAAR! Gebruik geen verloopstekker of verlengkabel en voer geen ingrepen uit aan de aansluitkabel. Als de aansluitkabel beschadigd wordt, moet die worden vervangen door de fabrikant, de klantendienst of een eender gekwalificeerde persoon, om gevaar te vermijden. Verwijder de auto-oplaadadapter uit de sigarettenaansteker.

Ingebruikname Voordat u de handsfree-installatie voor de eerste keer gebruikt, moet u de bijgeleverde Lithium-ion-accu plaatsen en die volledig opladen.

WAARSCHUWING! Verwijder de auto-oplaadadapter bij uitgeschakelde motor, om de accu van uw auto te sparen.

De Lithium-ion-accu plaatsen Open het accuvak (9) door op het midden van de accudeksel te drukken en deze in de richting van de ingestempelde pijl te trekken. Plaats de Lithium-ion-accu in het accuvak (9), zoals weergegeven in de volgende afbeelding. Door het ontwerp is het niet mogelijk de accu verkeerd te plaatsen. Sluit na het plaatsen van de accu het accuvak (9) met de accudeksel.

De Lithium-ion-accu opladen Laad de Lithium-ion-accu voor het eerste gebruik volledig op. Verbind daarvoor de USB-stekker van de bijgeleverde auto-oplaadadapter met de USB-oplaadaansluiting (7) van de handsfree-installatie. Steek vervolgens de auto-oplaadadapter in een ervoor geschikte sigarettenaansteker van uw voertuig. De LED-indicator (4) licht tijdens het opladen oranje op. Een volledige oplaadcyclus duurt ca. 3 uur. Als het opladen klaar is, dooft de LED-indicator (4). Koppel nu de auto-oplaadadapter los uit de sigarettenaansteker en van de handsfree-installatie.

WAARSCHUWING! Verwijder de auto-oplaadadapter bij uitgeschakelde motor, om de accu van uw voertuig te sparen.

De accu kan ook worden opgeladen via een pc of externe voeding. Hiervoor heeft een kabel met een passende USB-aansluiting nodig.

De handsfree-installatie in-/uitschakelen Druk ca. 5 seconden op de multifunctionele toets (2), totdat er een geluidssignaal weerklinkt en de LED-indicator (4) blauw knippert. De handsfree-installatie is nu klaar voor gebruik.

Om de handsfree-installatie uit te schakelen, drukt u nogmaals ca. 4 seconden op de multifunctionele toets (2). Er weerklinkt een geluidssignaal, de LED-indicator (4) knippert meerdere keren kort oranje en dooft dan geheel.

Verbinding maken met compatibele mobiele telefoons Pairing/koppelen Houd bij uitgeschakelde handsfree-installatie de multifunctionele toets (2) ca. 9 seconden ingedrukt, totdat er een geluidssignaal weerklinkt en de LED-indicator (4) afwisselend oranje en blauw knippert. De handsfree-installatie bevindt zich nu in zoekmodus. Activeer nu de Bluetooth-functie van uw mobiele telefoon en laat het naar Bluetooth-apparaten in de omgeving zoeken. Ga dit na in de handleiding van uw mobiele telefoon. Kies uit de lijst van de gevonden apparaten het apparaat 'SFA 30 B1'.

Als er tijdens het koppelen naar een pincode wordt gevraagd, voert u '0000' in.

De naam van de handsfree-installatie 'SFA 30 B1' verschijnt nu in de lijst van de verbonden apparaten van uw mobiele telefoon. De handsfree-installatie bevindt zich nu in de standby-modus en de LED-indicator (4) knippert met regelmatige tussenpozen eenmalig kort blauw. Zodra de verbinding wordt verbroken, knippert deze twee keer blauw. Op dezelfde wijze kunt u verdere apparaten met de handsfree-installatie bekend maken of koppelen. Het koppelen begint voor elk apparaat bij uitgeschakelde handsfree-installatie zoals hierboven beschreven. Daarna beschikt de handsfree-installatie over meerdere 'bekende' apparaten. Deze status is de voorwaarde voor een actieve verbinding tussen handsfree-installatie en andere apparaten. Er worden maximaal 3 apparaten opgeslagen als 'bekende apparaten'. Het aantal apparaten die zich actief met de handsfree-installatie kunnen verbinden is beperkt tot twee. Zodra dus een of twee bekende apparaten in de buurt van de handsfree-installatie komen, wordt automatisch de verbinding met deze apparaten tot stand gebracht. Eventueel moet u de totstandkoming van de verbinding op uw mobiele telefoon

bevestigen. Als er nog een derde apparaat in de buurt van de handsfree-installatie komt, wordt de verbinding ermee geblokkeerd totdat een van de twee actieve verbindingen worden verbroken of een van de twee apparaten het zendgebied verlaat. Als een van de twee actief verbonden apparaten wordt ontkoppeld, kan het derde (wachtende) apparaat worden gekoppeld. Zodra de handsfree-installatie met een van de gelijktijdig gekoppelde mobiele telefoons een telefoonverbinding heeft opgebouwd, kan met het tweede apparaat geen telefoonverbinding via de handsfree-installatie worden gemaakt. Deze blokkering wordt opgeheven zodra de eerste telefoonverbinding is beindigd.

Het koppelen kan afhankelijk van de gebruikte mobiele telefoon tot 30 seconden duren.

Als er twee apparaten zijn aangesloten op de handsfree-installatie, worden er verschillende beltonen gebruikt voor inkomende gesprekken.

Bellen Als u wilt bellen, kiest u het telefoonnummer op uw mobiele telefoon zoals u gewend bent. Bij het opbouwen van de verbinding knippert de LED-indicator (4) snel blauw. Zodra de verbinding tot stand is gekomen, knippert de LED-indicator (4) n keer blauw, gevolgd door een lange pauze.

Bellen met voice-dial De handsfree-installatie biedt de mogelijkheid gesprekken met voice-dial tot stand te brengen, voor zover uw mobiele telefoon deze functie ondersteunt en deze geactiveerd is. Om een verbinding met voice-dial op te bouwen, drukt u in standby-modus n keer kort op de multifunctionele toets (2) van de handsfree-installatie en spreekt dan duidelijk de

naam van de gewenste deelnemer uit. Nadere informatie over de voice-dialfunctie van uw mobiele telefoon vindt u in de handleiding van de mobiele telefoon.

Gesprekken aannemen / weigeren Bij een binnenkomend gesprek geeft de handsfree-installatie een belsignaal. Bij het opbouwen van de verbinding knippert de LED-indicator (4) in een snel ritme blauw. U neemt het gesprek aan door kort op de multifunctionele toets (2) te drukken. Zodra de verbinding tot stand is gekomen, knippert de LED-indicator (4) n keer blauw, gevolgd door een lange pauze.

Als de multifunctionele toets (2) ca. twee seconden lang ingedrukt wordt gehouden, kan het gesprek worden overgezet naar de mobiele telefoon. Op dezelfde manier kan het gesprek daarna ook weer worden teruggenomen.

Om het gesprek te weigeren, drukt u ca. 2 seconden op de multifunctionele toets (2), totdat er een geluidssignaal weerklinkt.

Als er twee mobiele telefoons van een gebruiker tegelijkertijd zijn verbonden met de handsfree-installatie en er al een gesprek via de handsfree-installatie wordt gevoerd, wordt een binnenkomend gesprek op de tweede mobiele telefoon als volgt behandeld: Het tweede gesprek wordt door de handsfree-installatie aangenomen zodra deze op de mobiele telefoon wordt aangenomen. Het eerste gesprek wordt in de wacht gezet totdat het tweede gesprek is beindigd. Nu kan het eerste gesprek via de handsfree-installatie worden voortgezet.

Het volume instellen U heeft de mogelijkheid tijdens een gesprek met de + toets (5) het volume naar behoefte te verhogen. Als het maximum volume is bereikt, klinkt er een geluidssignaal. Op dezelfde wijze kunt u met de - toets (6) het volume verlagen. Als het minimum volume is bereikt, klinkt er een geluidssignaal.

Microfoon uitschakelen Met de mutetoets (1) kunt u tijdens een gesprek de microfoon (3) tijdelijk uitschakelen, zodat uw gesprekspartner u niet meer kan horen. Druk ca. 2 seconden op de mutetoets (1), totdat er een bevestigingssignaal weerklinkt en de LED-indicator (4) n keer oranje knippert. De microfoon is nu uitgeschakeld. Terwijl de microfoon is uitgeschakeld, weerklinken er als herinnering met regelmatige tussenpozen twee geluidssignalen. Om de uitschakeling te beindigen, drukt u nogmaals ca. 2 seconden op de mutetoets (1). Er weerklinkt een geluidssignaal en u bevindt zich weer in normale gespreksmodus, waarin uw gesprekspartner u kan horen.

Gesprekken beindigen Om een gesprek te beindigen, drukt u n keer kort op de multifunctionele toets (2). Na het loslaten van de toets hoort u een bevestigingstoon.

Nummerherhaling U heeft de mogelijkheid via de handsfree-installatie het laatst gekozen nummer opnieuw te kiezen. Druk hiervoor in standby-modus ca. 2 seconden op de + toets (5), totdat er een geluidssignaal weerklinkt.

Bevestiging aan de zonneklep U kunt de handsfree-installatie met behulp van de bijgevoegde bevestigingsclips aan de zonneklep van uw voertuig bevestigen. Daarvoor bevestigt u eerst de bevestigingsclip in de daarvoor bestemde uitsparing (10) aan de achterkant van uw handsfree-installatie.

Nu kunt u de handsfree-installatie probleemloos aan de zonneklep van uw auto aanbrengen.
