What is UX design?
Designing great productsis more than aesthetics.
It’s everything else that’s the difficult part.
UX != UI
Why have a process?
Technically, You Don’t.
But, that’s not a good idea.
Digital productsare expensiveinvestments.
So, what’s it look like?
• It depends on the project
• No single way
• Tailored process
• Iterative steps
Phase 1: DiscoveryThe Strategic Discovery
This is the most important phase.
• Trying to achieve
• Long-term vision
• Measure of success
• The roadmap
We want to…
• Client interviews
• Ask questions
• Define business goals
• Do some research
• Competitor Analysis
Phase 2: AnalysisWhat the data says
First, we…
• Evaluate
• Define requirements
• Create
• Personas
• Use Cases
• User Stories
• Understand
Phase 3: DesignComing to life
First, we…
• Wireframes
• User flow
• Prototypes
• Visual Design
Phase 4: DeliverWelcome to production
We can launch when…
• More tests
• UI sign off
• Congratulations!
• Pop Bottles
So, what happens next?
You start all over again!
BUT WHY?!?
Understand…
• Users needs change
• Business goals change
• Repeat
This is just a collection.
• Mix and match
• Who Benefits?
• Organizations
• Users
• The team
