How many clinicals are there?Community Health Nursing has a practicumcomponent. UW–Green Bay will work withyou to arrange the practicum in your homestate as close to your area of residence aspossible. It is a 3-credit course with timespent at public health and other communityagencies.

Is financial assistance available? Yes, it is! Fill out the Free Application forFederal Student Aid (FAFSA) online atwww.fafsa.ed.gov or mail it to the processorlisted on the FAFSA. Our financial aid schoolcode is 003899. To be eligible for financialaid you must take at least 6 credits persemester or 3 credits over summer session.Feel free to call the financial aid office at 920-465-2075 or send an e-mail [email protected]. Talk with your employerto see whether tuition reimbursement isavailable.

BSN-LINC courses are offered over the Internet.Complete your class work using your home computer and go online at whatever time of dayyour schedule allows. Technical and academicsupport is only an e-mail or toll-free phone callaway. You can even try us out without completelyenrolling in the program. Simply register as a“Special Student” and take a class to see howonline learning and BSN-LINC work for you!

How do I apply for admission?Classes start three times per year. You can applyonline for fall, spring, or summer session throughthe BSN-LINC Web site, http://bsn-linc.wiscon-sin.edu. Click “Apply Now.”

Is there academic advising available? The Professional Nursing Program at UW–GreenBay has academic advisers assigned to the BSN-LINC program. They are available to discussthe program, determine appropriate course work,and answer any questions you have. You maycontact an adviser toll free at 1-877-656-1483.

You will be awarded credit for college coursescompleted beyond your associate degree ordiploma. To discuss your individual situation, contact an advisor toll free at 1-877-656-1483.

How long will it take to complete the degree?This depends on how many credits you needand how many credits you register for eachsemester. You can take as long as you need tocomplete the degree. Our students typicallyattend school part-time and earn their degreesin one to four years.

Is BSN-LINC fully accredited?Yes. You’ll earn your BSN from UW–Green Bay,one of the nation’s most highly respected distance learning programs for nurses. BSN-LINC is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

How many classes will I need to take?We have a liberal credit transfer policy. The baccalaureate degree is 120 credits. You will beawarded 57-60 credits for your associate degreeor diploma. The remaining credits include 30 credits of upper-level nursing classes and 30-33 credits of non-nursing classes.
