UV INKS

COLORMATICIt is the system of bases developed for the reproduction of color references.

The system uses mixable and ready-to-use inks, formulated with lead-free pigments, with good opacity and with high

chemical, mechanical and atmospheric agents resistance.

The formulas, however authentic in the reproduction of the reference colours, are strongly influenced by the type of support,

the thickness of the ink film, the number of threads / cm of the fabric used and the printing conditions; moreover, because of

the inks pigmentation, some colours may be strongly metameric.

EPTA INKS provides, depending on the ink, the formulary in electronic format or the reflectance curves for the instrumental

formulation:

DESIRED EFFECTS

Thermoforming is a hot working process of a thermoplastic material (such as ABS, PS, PMMA, PC; PET-G, etc.), carried out under pressure

or under vacuum.

Thermoforming under vacuum

The plastic material is heated until the plastification temperature (temperature at which the material can be stretched without

breaking). Subsequently, the substrate is made to adhere, perfectly, to the forming mold (for depression obtained by the vacuum

circuit integral to the mold) getting the desired shape (forming). After the forming process, the material is cooled directly on the mold

to prevent distortion.

The packaging market offers integrated solutions with the communication strategies of the leading brands both if you are looking for a standard

proposal or fon an exclusive one. Markets that use them are: food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, communication. The materials commonly used are

HDPE, PETG, PETE, PP.

The UV screen gives excellent results in terms of detail of the pictures and chemical /mechanical resistance, as well as the printing speed

suitable for the process industry. The screen printing process can not be separated from the initial corona discharge treatment or flame

treatment, essential to ensure ink adhesion (on PP and PE).

The inks used for this appliction are NOVACURE SERIE 39.000 and UNIFLUTE SERIE 120.000
