The Port Tobacco Chapter of the National Society Dalghters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) recently announced its annual lunior American Citizens UAC) Contest winners The JAC Contests are creative competitions designed to promote patriotic development in our youth The NSDAR of Amershyican heritage and history among every school-age child in the United States The JAC Committee ofshyfers contests in are creative expression and community service This years theme was Celebrate America The local contest was open to all Pre-K through 12th grade students in schools throughout Charles County In total 333 students participated in the contest county-wide The following are winshyners for the Local Chapter State and Regional competitions The first-place winning entries adshyvance to the subsequent level First place Regional winners have advanced to the Nationshyal completion We will contact National Award winners as soon as we get the results
