Energy efficiency is more than a single system. It requires a whole building approach.
The basic goal of Title 24 energy standards is the reduction of energy use. A simple and efficient strategyto improve energy efficiency is to automatically turn off lights and devices when they are not in use.
Since lighting currently accounts for nearly 30 percent of Californias electricity use, the extensive useof lighting controls is essential and makes up one of the more significant changes to Title 24 2013.
