    Junior forward Dijon Farr has proven to be a

    11.2 points and raised his season scoring average

    to 6.4 points per game.

    Most recently, Farr scored 10 points on 5-of-9

    4-of-9 from 3-point range.

    Farr is currently Utahs best 3-point threat among

    Washburn Consistently Scoring

    Double Digits

    Comingo11pointsagainstWashingtonState,

    Washburn has scored double digits in 10 of 14

    games this season and ranks among the top 30

    scorers in the Pac-12, coming in at No. 29 with

    11.1 points per game.

    Washburnisshoongaveryecient60%from

    theoorfortheseason(60-of-100),whichis

    highest on the team and third-best in the Pac-

    12.Heisalsoknockingdown78.3%ofhisfree

    throws (36-of-46), best on the squad and ninth in

    the Pac-12.

    Washburn is averaging 6.9 boards per contest,

    leading the Utes and ranking sixth in the Pac-12.

    He is well ahead of his career average of 4.1

    rebounds per game and is just four boards away

    from eclipsing the 100-rebound mark for the

    secondmeinhiscareer.Heisonpacetogethis

    100th rebound in game 15 against Washington

    on Saturday, six games faster than last year.

    Head coach LarryKrystkowiak has stated that

    he would like Utahs big men to maintain a

    rebounding pace around one every four minutes.

    With 96 boards in 397 minutes this season,

    Washburn is right on that pace.

    Utah vs. the Pac-12

    With the win against Washington State, Utah

    improvesitsall-merecordagainstthePac-12

    to 147-115 (.561), including a 1-1 mark as a

    member of the league.

    Watkins and Storey Dish It Out

    Watkins and freshman guard KareemStorey have

    combined for 41 assists and only 21 turnovers

    over the last four games, an assist-to-turnover

    raoof1.95.

    The two have combined for 101 assists on the

    Utes in Overtime

    With Thursdays victory, Utah improved to 50-35

    Head Coach Larry Krystkowiak

    With the win against Washington State on

    Thursday, Krystkowiak picked up his fourth win as

    theUtesheadcoachandhisrstasaheadcoac

    in the Pac-12. For his NCAA coaching career,

    Krystkowiak is now 46-30 (.605) in his third year.

    Krystkowiak (pronounced krist-KOH-vee-ak), who

    has prior head coaching experience in the NCAA,

    CBAandNBA,leaposionasanassistantcoac

    with the New Jersey Nets to become the 15th

    head coach in Utah mens basketball history.

    Inhispreviouscollegiateheadcoachingpost,

    Krystkowiak led his alma mater, the University

    of Montana, to a 42-20 record and two NCAA

    appearances as the Grizzlies from 2004-06

    before joining the NBA coaching ranks.

    Utes Ink Five or 2012

    Utah opened the early signing period by inking

    veplayerswhowilljointheUtesforthe

    2012-13 season. The signing class includes high

    school seniors JoshHearlihy (North Hollywood,

    Calif., Harvard-Westlake HS), Jordan Loveridge

    (West Jordan, Utah, West Jordan HS) and Jusn

    Seymour(Mariea,Ga.,WheelerHS),along

    with Southern Utah transfer DallinBachynski

    (Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Sir Winston Churchill

    HS) and returning LDS missionary JeremyOlsen

    (Lawrenceville, Ga., Collins Hill HS).

    Utahs Blocks Leader

    Out Indefnitely

    Senior center David Foster underwent foot

    surgeryinNovemberandisoutindenitely.

    Foster is Utahs career record holder in blocked

    shots with 219. He also holds the top two

    single-season marks with 115 in 2009-10 and

    99 last season. Foster led the Mountain West

    Conference in blocks the last two years and

    nishedamongthetopveinNCAADiv.Ibothyears as well. He was the 2010 MWC Defensive

    Player of the Year and was also named to the

    MWC All-Defensive team in 2011.
