The M962 KIT01 Millennium Universal WeaponLight System is a complete combat kit that equips an operator for virtually any situation. ADS is the primary source of supply for the MABK, a specialty Close Quarter Battle Equipment (CQBE) kit for US Marine Corps Reconnaissance Battalions, Force Reconnaissance Companies, Radio Reconnaissance Platoons, and Special Operations Battalions. The MABK and its subcomponents have been extensively fi eld-tested by Fleet Marine Force as well as various elements of US Special Operations Command and are approved for purchase by MARCORSYSCOM.

The MABK contains items for several methods of breaching used by USMC Reconnaissance assault elements and instructional cadres. The kit contains small tools and knives which are tagged separately and organized into tool bags. Each kit packs into six Pelican cases plus an additional case that holds the breaching/cutting torch kit. The total kit is palletized and packed out into seven Pelican cases along with a ladder and breaching paste. All Pelican cases are inspected and locked by the end user who takes the keys with them. Kit shipments are made via ground transportation, the shipping container doors are locked and keys discarded. The locks are then cut once the shipment arrives at the site.

The MABK has a NSN for reference and facilitated purchase via the National Stock System. The Kit is available to the units referenced above, other units authorized to procure the complete kit, or as individual items in quantities as needed for sustainment of fi elded kits.

B TACTICAL CUTTING TORCH KITThe PC/TACMOD1 is the basis for the U.S. Marine Corps’ Assault Breachers’ Torch Kit and also is in use with Army Special Forces, the F.B.I., and other federal and local special response teams. MARINE INDIVIDUAL ASSAULT KIT (MIAK)ADS is the primary source of supply for the MIAK, a specialty Close Quarter Battle Equipment (CQBE) kit for US Marine Corps Reconnaissance Battalions, Force Reconnaissance Companies, Radio Reconnaissance Platoons, and Special Operations Battalions. The MIAK and its subcomponents have been extensively fi eld-tested by Fleet Marine Force as well as various elements of US Special Operations Command and are approved for MARCORSYSCOM.

The MIAK contains basic items that a Marine will wear or carry into theater. All non-sized and bulk items are kitted, placed into a “kit bag” and inspected. Sized and orientation (left or right handed) items are boxed separately and then palletized for easy distribution. The kit also contains holsters that accommodate either .45 caliber or 9mm pistols. The MIAK has a NSN for reference and facilitated purchase via the National Stock System. The Kit is available to the units referenced above, other units authorized to procure the complete kit, or as individual items in quantities as needed for sustainment of fi elded kits.

The HellFighter uses a xenon-fi lled high intensity discharge (HID) arc lamp to produce 3,000 lumens of blinding, perfectly focused light capable of reaching hundreds of yards into the night. The SureFire Helmet Light is a compact, lightweight, watertight, multiple-output unit that can be attached to military PASGT and TC2000 Modular Integrated Communications Helmets (MICH). Its ergonomic switching can easily be operated with either hand, even while wearing heavy gloves.

The Helmet Light uses a single 123A lithium battery, three separate switches, and six light emitting diodes (LEDs) to produce three different types of light at multiple power levels:• Primary light: three 5mm LEDs with low, medium, and high output levels• Secondary light: two 5mmLEDs with low, medium, and high output levels• Infrared IFF light: one 3mm, 1.72mW infrared LED with continual blinking output.

SUREFIRE HELMET LIGHTWhite LEDs are for general-purpose, close-work illumination. Colored LEDs serve the same purpose but with a low light signature that doesn’t compromise night-adapted vision.
