•People SEARCH FOR information about what they want
•People APPLY for positions they want
•Agencies SELECT (“hire”) people that fit

You don’t want to read hundreds of volunteer position descriptions.

Read the title of each volunteer position. Click on each position that interests you. You’ll get more information about the
position and how to apply.
Find a position you want. Apply on-line or contact the agency directly. They will usually interview you. You can also ask questions of them. If it’s a good fit, you’re “hired”!
