Organize messages with Labels. Create groups for classes and use to
take roll. Use the Address box to keep record
of absences. Easily send a canned email message
to absent students
Forms in Google Docs
Create a form, post in CMS or on a website. Students provide contact information.
Information automatically populates into a spreadsheet.
Export spreadsheet into Gmail to create a group/class in contacts with email addresses, phone numbers and addresses.
Google Calendar
Create a class calendar to post due dates for assignments.
Republish calendar into CMS or a webpage.
Students can subscribe to calendar to get events added to their own calendars.
Collaboration
Google Docs - Share documents with students for peer review, group projects/presentations
