How do you keep up with assignments?
High School
• Largest High School (1,850 students)
– Wanted to benchmark tests– Estimated cost was $10,000

• One license is $139
• 15 pack is $1275
• We had 60 teachers so we purchased four 15 packs. ~$5,000.– Do not have to be renewed– One time fee– No support fee
Could we use Online Assessment?
• Save money
• Save teacher time
• Faster return of scored test
• Requires computers
• Will not make the teachers better teachers (may save them time so they can teach more.)
Why ExamView
• VoCATS had not provided online assessment• It was already in our system.• Bundled with some Science and Math textbooks.• Our DP had experience installing and support
the product.• One testing software for all teachers, one
training, easier to support.

ExamView has Trail Editiongo to www.examcat.com for site
ExamView is included in Many Textbooks.

• The VoCAT item banks have to be printed as Adobe PDF files, copied to rich text files, and coded for objectives and answer which can convert by ExamView to their item banks
• The good news is we have converted the VoCATs Middle School Banks to ExamView and you just have to download and use.
Log on to www.examcat.com
Click on ExamView BanksEnter User name vocats password wetsel
Select the File you want to down load
Save the file
Save to you hard disk. Unzip the file to ExamView Testbank directory and you are
ready to make tests.

How do I post tests online?
Step 1: Select Publish Internet Test from the File menu.
Click here.
Step 2: Select HRW Testing Server from the Publish test to menu.
DO NOT select the ExamView option. It is a
for-fee service.
Select the free HRW option.
Click Next to continue.
Step 3: Enter your user name and password.
Use your Holt Online Learning User Name
and Password.
Click Next to continue.
Step 4: Click Publish to upload your test to the HRW Testing Server.
Click Publish to complete the process.
You will receive this confirmation that your test has been uploaded
successfully.
