Using EASYBIB to make citations

Click on type of citation: Website

Copy the URL

Copy & Paste your URL in to the box & click ‘search’ button

Click ‘cite’ button

Scroll down and hit ‘continue’ button to manually add missing information

ACTAULLY FILL IN MISSING TEXT INFO!

Many sites might not have an author…

…but they have a ‘Publisher / sponsor’ – take time to fill that out. Without it, your source might not be considered credible, even though it is.

SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE OR SEARCH THEIR “HOME” PAGE TO FIND THE DATE PUBLISHED / UPDATED!! DO NOT BE LAZY IN THIS!

Add the date electronically published

Click ‘Copy bibliographic citation’ so you can add “Access date” to your final.

TRUNCATE LONG URL’S!i.e. cut out the long, unnecessary info after the last meaningful backslash

Add the date you accessed the information

REMOVE THE HYPERLINK!

REMOVE THE HYPERLINK!

Highlight all text and make sure font is uniform: INCLUDING COLOR!
