Part C – Preparing a Wet Mount
Place a drop of water on a slide.
Hold the bottom edge of a coverslip on the drop of water, and then let go.
Your specimen should be under the coverslip.
Place the slide in the clips on the stage, center it, and focus.
Always start with low power, focus and center.
Then rotate the nosepiece to medium and repeat.
Now rotate to high power.
