USF College of Education Global Educator Scholarship Application DEADLINE TO APPLY: FRIDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2019 BY 5:00 PM Overview To help offset some of the costs associated with studying abroad, the USF College of Education is awarding Global Educator Scholarships of up to $1,000 to students who are planning to travel abroad during the 2019-20 academic year. While the Global Educator Scholarship is not intended to pay for an entire program, it is meant to aid our students in covering some of the costs associated with international study. To be considered for the scholarship, students must fill out the entire application and submit the application by Friday, October 11, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. Eligibility Criteria To receive the Global Educator Scholarship, students must meet the following criteria: Applicant must be pursuing a degree program in the USF Tampa College of Education. “Pre-education” majors who have not yet been fully admitted to the College of Education are also welcome to apply. Applicant must begin the online application process for applying to an Education Abroad program. For more information about this, please visit https://educationabroad.global.usf.edu. Applying to an Education Abroad Program To apply for an Education Abroad program, visit https://educationabroad.global.usf.edu. Applicants should check with the individual program website for program-specific deadlines. Deadlines can be as soon as 5-6 months prior to the program start date. Generally, program applications are accepted on a rolling basis, however, students may find that certain programs have specific acceptance deadlines. Students are urged to apply early!
