CHAPTER 1: STUDENT
1.1 LOGIN
1.1.1 Please click on Student UTM tab. Then, click Login. Figure 1.2 will be displayed.

1.1.2 Insert Username and Password. Then, choose Faculty.
1.1.3 Done, please click Login.
1.1.4 Click Click here to recover to get back your username and password. System will be re-
directed to ACID System.

1.2.1. Notification to Submit a Thesis (Normal)
1.2.1.1. Click on Research tab. Figure 1.4 will be displayed.

1.2.1.6 To display the completed Thesis Submission Notice’s Form, please click a link at the part
of “Please review this application before Submitted”

1.2.2 Notification Early Thesis Submission
1.2.2.1 Fill in the information and click on the Next to Notification Early Thesis Submission
button. Then, Figure 1.8 will be displayed.

1.2.2.2 Insert the number of papers and Cumulative Impact Factor to every journal/paper. System
will determine thesis period that should be submitted by student. Click Finish to close the
window.
1.2.2.3 Click Add to add the journal list that submitted by student before by the number of papers.

1.2.2.4 Fill in the information of journal and click on Submit button.

CHAPTER 2: SUPERVISOR
2.1. EMAIL NOTIFICATION
2.1.1. After student submitted their Notification to Submit a Thesis’s Form, a notification will be
sent to a supervisor as shown as Figure 1.12.
2.1.2. Click a link that given in the email, and then system will be re-directed to a page of
Notification to Submit a Thesis (Supervisor).

2.3 Supervisor must view the Thesis Submission Notice’s Form that filled up by student as
shown as Figure 1.13. Then, click Next.

2.4 Supervisors have to nominate 3 Internal Examiner and 3 External Examiner. Click on Add
Internal Examiner and Add External Examiner as shown as Figure 1.14.

2.5 Click on to choose Internal Examiner.
2.6 If the name that you searched is not in the list, please click Search in HR data and select for
New Internal Examiner. System will be re-directed to HR UTM’s system.

2.7 Click on to choose candidates of External Examiner.
2.8 If the name is not in the listed, please click Add New External Examiner.

2.9 Fill in the information of Internal Examiner and click Simpan.

2.10 Click on Edit button to edit the information of Internal Examiner.
2.11 Click Delete button to delete the information of Internal Examiner.

2.12 Click on Edit button to edit the information of External Examiner.
2.13 Click Delete button to delete the information of External Examiner.
2.14 To download External Examiner’s CV, please click a link that given in the CV’s column.
