2. NET ATTACHMENT: Slide the sleeve of the Net (#7) over the top pole of the assembled pole structure making sure that the top of the Net with the Connecting Cord Loop is at the top end of the pole. See FIG. 2.

3. TOP CABLE ATTACHMENT:A. Unscrew the Net Tension Device (#6) and insert through the holes in the middle

poles, securing each bolt by screwing back on the original nut. See FIG. 3A.

B. Attach the top cable to the buckle of the tension adjuster. See FIG. 3C.

5. NET SET UP: Stretch the assembled Net and poles across the playing area until the Net is taut.

Press the Pole Anchors into the ground with the poles touching the ground. Slip the poles onto the anchors. Holding the poles in the vertical position, press the Guide Rope stakes into the ground at a 45º angle, 3 feet to 5 feet from the pole and 3 feet to 5 feet apart. Make sure that the hooks on the stakes are facing away from the poles. See FIG. 5 and 6.

6. BOTTOM GUIDE ROPE SET UP: Make the loops on the Bottom Guide Rope tension clips large enough to slip over the stakes already in the ground. Make sure that the Guide Rope loops are placed under the stake hooks as shown in FIG. 6.

7. NET HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT: The net can be adjusted to three different heights by aligning the push buttons with the proper holes in the top (7 ft), middle (6 ft) or bottom of the poles, as shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 7.

Badminton Rules

Badminton RulesCOURT SIZE:The standard size badminton court is 20 feet wide and 44 feet long. The length and width can be increased or decreased based on the space available.

NET:Stretch the net across the center of the court dividing it in half. The net height should be 5 feet in the center of the net and 5 feet 1 inch at the poles (bottom setting).

NUMBER OF PLAYERS:In doubles match, the game is played with four total players, two on each side of the net.

A singles match is played with one player on each side of the net.

SERVICE:The game should begin by tossing a coin to see which team serves first. The side that serves first is only allowed one serve to start the game. After the game begins, each team is allowed two serves.

SERVICE ROTATION:The team that serves first must serve from their right half of the court. (see diagram below).

lN DOUBLES: The serve must alternate from the right half court to left half court after each serve, so no player on the opposing team receives two consecutive serves. Teammates must serve consecutively.

IN SINGLES: The players serve from the right half court when their score is "0" or an even number of points. Service is delivered from left half court on odd number points. If the team serving makes a fault, one serve is lost. If the team receiving the serve makes a fault, the team serving gets a point and continues the serve. The serve must alternate from right and left half courts after each serve as stated before.

THE GAME:The game can be played to 15 or 21 points. The best two out of three games wins the match. Teams shall change court ends after each game.

SCORING: Points are scored if a serve lands on the opponent’s court without being volleyed back or if the opponent returns a volley outside of the field of play. The player who gains the point retains the serve until it is broken by the opponent.

SERVICE COURT ERROR: 1) A service court error has been made when a player has served or received out of turn; or has served or received from the wrong service court.

2) If a service court error is discovered, the error shall be corrected and the existing score shall stand.

FAULTS:A fault occurs when:1) If on the serve, the shuttle is contacted above the server's waist.2) During the serve, the shuttle must fall into the correct part of the court. The shuttle should not fall in front of the short service line, beyond the long service line or outside the side boundary line.3) If during the serve, the feet of server and receiver are not within boundaries of their respective service courts.4) If the server or player intentionally distracts, balks or obstructs his opponent.5) If the server misses the shuttle while attempting to serve.6) If either in service or play, the shuttle falls outside the boundaries of the court, or passes through or under the net, or fails to pass the net, or touches the roof or side walls, or the person or clothing of a player.7) If a player reaches over the net and hits the shuttle on their opponents side of the court. However a player may hit the shuttle on their side of the court and follow through on the swing over the net.8) If when the shuttle is in play a player touches the net of its supports with racket, person, or clothing.9) One player hitting the shuttle twice in succession.

Note: It is not a fault1) If the shuttle hits the net during service or play and goes over the net. If this occurs during the serve it is just reserved.2) If the frame, shaft, or handle of the racket hits the shuttle, or if the base and the feathers of the shuttle are struck simultaneously.

Volleyball RulesCOURT SIZE:The standard size of a volleyball court is 30 feet wide and 60 feet long. The playfield can be increased or decreased based on the space available.

NET:Stretch the net across the center of the court dividing it in half. The net height should be set at 7 feet when playing volleyball, but it can be set to 6 feet or 5 feet 1 inch if all of the players agree to the change.

NUMBER OF PLAYERS:Each team should have the same number of players and the there shouldn’t be more than 6 total players.

SERVICE:Each player shall serve in turn and will continue to serve until side is out. When serving, the ball must go over the net; if the ball hits the net when served and goes over the net, the ball must be re-served. If the ball does not go over the net when served or is out of bounds or touches any team-mate before touching an opponent or opponent’s court, the side is out and the opponent takes possession and becomes the serving team.

SERVING AREA:The serving area should be a minimum of 5 feet behind the back boundary of the court. In the event that the playing area does not provide enough space for such an area, then the serving area shall extend into the court. The serving area should be located in the right end section of each court; the width should not exceed 8 feet. (see diagram).

VOLLEY:Each team is allowed three consecutive ball touches before it is returned to the opponent’s area.

ROTATION:After a team has lost its serve, the team receiving the ball for the serve should rotate clockwise, one player position.

GAME:The game shall be played to 21 or 15 points. In order to win the match, a team must win two out of three games.

SCORING:Only the serving team can score. When the serving team fails to score, it is “side out” and the receiving team becomes the serving team.

ERRORS AND FAULTS:1) When a player does not clearly hit the ball or allows the ball to rest on any part of his/her body.2) A player hits the ball out of bounds.3) A player allows the ball to hit the floor or any other object outside the established play area (except the net), before being legally returned to the opponent side of the court.4) When a player touches or hits the ball two times in a row.5) When a player fails to make a good serve within the play area.6) The ball is caught and/or thrown; it does not rebound from the hit.7) If the ball touches any part of the body,except the hands or forearms.8) Touching the net with any part of the body or reaching over the net.9) If a player plays out of position when ball is being served.

PENALTY:Touching the net with any part of the body or reaching over the net.

Caution: Stand clear of the court area to avoid being injured while a player is taking his or her turn.

5. AJUSTE DE LA RED: Estire la red ensamblada y los postes de lado a lado del terreno de juego hasta que

la red quede tensa. Clave las estacas de los postes al suelo de manera que los postes queden tocando el suelo. Deslice los postes sobre las estacas. Mantenga los postes en posición vertical, clave las estacas de la cuerda guía al suelo en un ángulo de 45º, a una distancia de entre 3 y 5 pies del poste y con una separación de 3 a 5 pies entre sí. Asegúrese de que los ganchos de las estacas están de espaldas a los postes. Vea la FIG. 5 y 6.

6. AJUSTE DE LA GUERDA GUÍA INFERIOR: Haga los lazos de los clips de tensión de la cuerda guía inferior lo suficientemente grandes para pasarlos sobre las estacas ya clavadas en el suelo. Reglas del bádminton TAMAÑO DE LA CANCHA:El tamaño estándar de una cancha de bádminton es de 20 pies de ancho por 44 pies de largo. La longitud y anchura se pueden aumentar o disminuir en función del espacio disponible.

RED:Estire la red a través del centro de la cancha dividiéndola por la mitad. La altura de la red debe ser de 5 pies en el centro de la red y de 5 pies 1 pulgada en los postes (ajuste inferior).

NÚMERO DE JUGADORES:En los partidos de dobles hay un total de cuatro jugadores, dos a cada lado de la red.

Un partido de individuales se juega con un jugador en cada lado de la red.

SERVICIO:El juego debe comenzar lanzando una moneda para ver cuál equipo realiza el saque primero. Al lado que realize el servicio primero sólo se le permite un saque para iniciar el juego. Después de que comience el juego, cada equipo tiene derecho a dos saques.

ROTACIÓN DEL SERVICIO:El equipo que realize el servicio primero debe sacar desde la mitad derecha de su cancha (ver el diagrama a continuación).

PARTIDOS DOBLES: El saque se debe alternar de la mitad derecha de la cancha a la mitad izquierda de la cancha después de cada servicio, de manera que ningún jugador del equipo contrario reciba dos saques consecutivos. Los miembros del equipo deben realizar el saque de manera consecutiva.

PARTIDOS DE INDIVIDUALES: Los jugadores sacan desde la mitad derecha de la cancha cuando su puntuación es "0" o un número par de puntos. El servicio se realiza desde la mitad izquierda de la cancha cuando el número de puntos es impar. Si el equipo que realiza el servicio comete una falta, pierde el saque. Si el equipo que recibe el servicio comete una falta, el equipo que está sirviendo obtiene un punto y continúa sacando. El saque se debe alternar entre las mitades derecha e izquierda de las canchas después de cada servicio, como se mencionó anteriormente.

EL JUEGO:El juego se puede jugar a 15 o 21 puntos. El ganador del partido es quién gana dos juegos de tres.Los equipos deben cambiar de cancha después de terminar cada juego.

PUNTUACIÓN:Se anotan puntos si un saque cae en la cancha del contrario sin ser devuelto o si el contrario hace una devolución fuera del campo de juego. El jugador que gana el punto conserva el saque hasta que el oponente gane el saque.

ERROR EN EL SERVICIO: 1) Se comete un error en el servicio cuando un jugador sirve o recibe fuera de turno; o si ha servido o recibido en la cancha de servicio incorrecta.

2) Si se descubre un error de servicio, se corregirá el error y el marcador existente se mantiene.

FALTAS:Una falta ocurre cuando:1) Si se golpea al volante por encima de la cintura del jugador en el saque.2) Durante el saque, el volante debe caer en la parte correcta de la cancha. El volante no debe caer delante de la línea de servicio corto, más allá de la línea de servicio largo o fuera de la línea de delimitación lateral.3) Si durante el saque, los pies del que realiza el servicio y del receptor no están dentro de los límites de sus respectivas canchas de servicio.4) Si el que realiza el servicio o un jugador distrae, obstaculiza u obstruye intencionadamente a su oponente.5) Si el que realiza el servicio o el jugador no golpea el volante mientras intenta sacar.6) Si durante el saque o el juego, el volante cae fuera de los límites de la cancha, pasa a través o por debajo de la red, no logra pasar la red, toca el techo o las paredes laterales, o el cuerpo o la ropa de un jugador.7) Si un jugador se estira por encima de la red y golpea el volante en el lado de la cancha de su oponente. Sin embargo, un jugador puede golpear el volante en su lado de la cancha y seguir adelante con el swing sobre la red.8) Si estando el volante en juego un jugador toca la red o sus soportes con la raqueta, cuerpo o ropa.9) Un jugador golpea el volante dos veces seguidas.

Nota: No es una falta1) Si el volante golpea la red durante el servicio o en el juego y pasa por encima de la red. Si esto ocurre durante el saque sólo está reservado.2) Si el marco, asta o mango de la raqueta golpea el volante, o si se golpean simultáneamente la base y las plumas del volante.

Reglas del voleibolTAMAÑO DE LA CANCHA:El tamaño estándar de una cancha de voleibol es de 30 pies de ancho y 60 pies de largo. El campo de juego se puede aumentar o disminuir según el espacio disponible.

RED:Estire la red a través del centro de la cancha dividiéndola por la mitad. La altura de la red debe fijarse a 7 pies cuando se juega voleibol, pero se puede poner a 6 pies o a 5 pies 1 pulgada si todos los jugadores están de acuerdo con el cambio.

NÚMERO DE JUGADORES:Cada equipo debe tener el mismo número de jugadores y no debe ser superior a 6 jugadores en total.

SERVICIO:Cada jugador servirá por turno y continuará sirviendo hasta que pierda la bola. Al momento de servir, el balón debe pasar por encima de la red; si el balón golpea la red al sacar y pasa por encima de ella, se debe volver a realizar el saque. Si el balón no pasa sobre la red cuando se saca o se sale fuera de los límites o toca a cualquier miembro del equipo antes de tocar a un adversario o la cancha rival, se pierde la bola y el oponente toma posesión y se convierte en el equipo que realiza el saque.

ÁREA DE SERVICIO:El área de servicio debe estar a un mínimo de 5 pies detrás de la línea de delimitación trasera de la cancha. En el caso de que el área de juego no ofrezca suficiente espacio para tal área, entonces el área de servicio se extenderá en la cancha. El área de servicio debe estar ubicada en la sección del extremo derecho de cada cancha; el ancho no debe exceder los 8 pies (ver el diagrama).

VOLEO:Cada equipo tiene derecho a tres toques consecutivos de balón antes de devolverlo al área rival.

ROTACIÓN:Después que un equipo ha perdido su servicio, el equipo que recibe el balón del servicio debe girar los jugadores en sentido horario una posición.

JUEGO:El juego se jugará a 21 o 15 puntos. Para ganar el partido, el equipo deberá ganar dos de tres juegos.

ERRORES Y FALTAS:1) Cuando un jugador no golpea claramente el balón o permite que toque cualquier parte de su cuerpo.2) Un jugador golpea la bola fuera de los límites.3) Un jugador permite que el balón toque el suelo o cualquier otro objeto fuera de la zona establecida de juego (excepto la red), antes de ser devuelto legalmente al lado contrario de la cancha.4) Cuando un jugador toca o golpea el balón dos veces seguidas.5) Cuando un jugador no hace un buen saque dentro del área de juego.6) El balón se agarra y/o se lanza; no rebota por el golpe.7) Si el balón toca cualquier parte del cuerpo, exceptuando las manos o los antebrazos.8) Si se toca la red con cualquier parte del cuerpo o se pasa por encima de la red.9) Si un jugador juega fuera de su posición cuando se está sirviendo el balón.

SANCIÓN:Tocar la red con cualquier parte del cuerpo o estirarse por encima de la red.
